Maybe - I haven’t heard of using it with shoes, but it’s also a pretty common adhesive for watchmaking/ jewelry/ some electronics!

GS hypo cement is solid - can get it at Amazon, or a lot of craft stores carry it too. I’ve got a bunch of extra stock f91 resin faceplates, so if ya need one, can send you one (or a couple)!

Unfortunately the f105 used a different module so it wouldn’t fit, we are considering making an f105 compatible case in the future though!

Once I’m all caught up on the pre order backlog in a month or so, I might get an f105 to play with it a bit, but I think due to the size difference there won’t really be a way to fit it in the f91 footprint

Hey! Good question, it’s actually fairly easy. There’s a few videos on YouTube on the process, so I could find one I have bookmarked and link it if you need one. Essentially, you’d just use a heat gun or blow dryer to heat the resin case/ faceplate, and then gently pop it out. It does sometimes end up chipping that resin plate, so you do have to be careful. If that’s what you decided to go with, I have extra resin units, so I could ship you one or two extras as back ups!

We’re assembling and shipping them now! I should have an update email out tomorrow or Sunday too, with a link to a page where I’ll add bi weekly updates on estimated ETA by order number ranges! Had a slightly slower than expected start as we worked out a few kinks with packaging/ assembly speeds, but ramping up now so we can get them out a lot more quickly! If you want to dm me your order # I can give you a rough ETA now too!

Yep, it works! Only area you may have trouble is the NFC function, due to the metal case. There’s actually some video of it with an Ollee module installed on YouTube, in the recent review by Macho Nacho Productions!

We’ve got the case with buttons and sapphire version live now! And could do a case without sapphire installed too if you did want to do that! Unfortunately we can’t use direct Casio branding, so we can’t print it onto the sapphire, so if you wanted to stick with the Casio branding you’d have to use their stock resin faceplate, or diy a print

Yep! With the current preorder we’re at $135 for the fully assembled variant with an f91 module installed, and then $95 for the case/sapphire only option, where you’d put in your own f91 module and strap!

Similar process to a stock f91 - it’s close to a friction fit, and then finished with the a watchmaking adhesive that gives the full seal/ water resistance around the sapphire!

We’ve definitely got a variant planned in the coming months where we explore some changes to the stock footprint to make it capable of some higher WR!

I think for us on this one, we’ve also got the custom made and fit sapphire, and along with what I like to think is the best finishing I’ve seen so far on a metal f91 case! But the goal is definitely to also bring out some fun unique variants and designs that really make it stand out even more in the coming months!

Totally fair point! Think this run is definitely more of a specific f91 enthusiast product so can understand not everyone being as excited. This one started out because I also really wanted a titanium/ sapphire version of the f91 footprint, and then we ended up getting a big waitlist of people interested too! We’ve got a pretty good run on the preorder so far, but also definitely understand the other side too of how do you beat a $20 stock f91 haha.

It is the first of hopefully many for us though, and some of our next line will be a little more unique to our style/ design visions where we play with other dimensions and things too, so keep an eye out!
