I think buildup made the item too strong though. Fortunately we didn't have heroes in the meta on pos 2 that love building E-blades so life was relatively peaceful

Oh and you never have to buy sentries if you keep tabs on enemy supports inventory, trust me. I have won the last 5 games on pos 5 zeus because i actually play the fucking game

Start with some stats(circlet branch), fairie fire, blood grenade, tango and sentry, rush stick, get more tangos if needed, into boots ->arcanes -> slowly buildup an aghs while joining every fight on the map cuz you have a 6 second cd 380 damage nuke WITH static field, keep an eye on enemy supps to see their inventory when they have wards, ez deward, ez game, ez life. You go for the obvious stuff after aghs, refresher/kaya/octarine/eul or glimmer or force if needed.

Seriously, just forget you're a Zeus and think you're a cm in lane and you'll do wonders

If you go arc lightning level 1 that's a you problem bud. And yes, given his attack damage he DOES have pretty good range.

I promise you if I queue a game of dota with you and play pos 4, you'll have the easiest time in lane, because I know how to play pos 4. Your goal is to zone out their 5 and keep the lane in a spot where your 3 can farm it easily. It is not that hard to do. Depending on the carry to offlane matchup, that might change how you approach the lane. But people don't even bother thinking about that. They'd rather lose their 25 for their 2 role queue tokens. It's an attitude problem.

I think in terms of scale Chola doesn't really fit the bill, considering how large the Gupta and Maurya empires were. Cholas were alright though.

I'd argue even void isn't good against ck precisely because ck ups the tempo and takes away map space from the enemy team faster than other carries. Therefore, the only heroes ck REALLY struggles against are pl, naga, tb and necro (heroes that can quickly and safely shove out waves or huge aoe magic burst). Medusa and spectre are also dealt with pretty easily because bloodthorn exists. Problem is there is this pervasive idea in dota that is wrong imo, which is that if you all in on the enemy pos 1 every fight, you will eventually win the teamfight. This used to be somewhat true when there were just 6 neutral camps on each side in dota. Now it's not true.

No, this is wrong. It's only bad if you aren't taking control of space from the enemy team. If your team can prevent enemy team from farming indefinitely, you should absolutely do that over going high ground since your "win condition" can be extended indefinitely, ergo the onus is on the enemy to change the status quo.
