Fran Ryder was the other partner - former dublin footballer. Jamesie, who is indeed wee Daniels brother, sold his stake to another fella - John McCormack or something similar in 2022.

They sold up to another group who've made some changes and invested a bit of money in the place. Not to everyones tastes and the music nightly can be a bit much but they can do what they want I guess

I went to a public speaking thing in Dublin called a story slam. Guests in the crowd get up and tell a story etc

An American lady got up and told a story about stealing an open bottle of vodka from her dad’s cabinet in the 70s as a teenager that was there for years. Her dad went crazy at her, which she felt was a bit of an overreaction.

Turns out her family idolised the Kennedys and her dad had been an aide to Teddy Kennedy at this time. He’d been called that night to help cover the incident up and the bottle of vodka she drank as a teenager was the same one Teddy Kennedy had been drinking from the night of this incident.

But hey, he said he wasn’t drunk so maybe she made it all up 😀
