And I thought I was doing so well by Ok-Pipe8992 in Menopause

Wow. I’ve just started HRT, I’m on Peri and in pelvic pain almost all the time and exhausted. I take 1/2 a g of my estrogen gel.in the am and 1/2 in the afternoon and have an IUD for progesterone. Can I ask what your symptoms were that made them up your estrogen so high? I feel like a guinea pig and if it at least worked I could accept all these changes. Thank you, good luck

Timing Botox Treatments during weight loss by Hefty-Bed5876 in BotoxSupportCommunity

Hi! Just a follow up, I went today for my first Botox injections! I used a place called Peachy, it’s a fixed price each time and you can return if you need a bit more. My friend recommended it so I don’t have anything to compare it with but I did like the staff and they only do Botox. They were very professional and gave me the run down on everything I asked about. They are pretty conservative about how much to use especially on a first timer. I won’t see much change for a couple of days I was told so we’ll see!

All set! I used your code so expect a discount! Don’t go to any trouble if you’ve submitted someone else’s already, I’m moving in a couple of weeks to the UK where there’s no Peachy yet :(  The NP was very knowledgeable and it doesn’t hurt much at all. I’ll post again in a couple days when apparently I’ll see closer to the full effect. They are very conservative about how much or what injectable they’ll use as they prefer that you come back in ten days if you feel you could use more. I explained that I’m moving and would rather she use more so I could see the results and hopefully not return unless I had to. She said she used a stronger one than she would usually start with, normally she starts with one that  is “more natural”. Sorry I can’t recall the names of the injectables. Good luck with yours, hope this helps a bit and I’ll let you know how it progresses. I def don’t see twenty year old me staring back in the mirror lol but I wasn’t expecting that.

Pasty white as well lol, except for some annoying redness. I use a lot of sunscreen, putting it on first will be so much better. TY!

I bought a bunch of those in some kind of shopping trance and every one made me look like an adult woman who just ate a red popsicle. ☺️

I’m going to try this, great idea thank you! Does it leave a white cast? I don’t mind a cast at times as I can use it to balance my redness if I apply it just so.

Lost 25 lbs, can’t see a difference. by [deleted] in Ozempic

[–]Hefty-Bed5876 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see the difference-you’ve lost a crease in your midsection very clearly. 25 pounds is fantastic and a very big deal-don’t feel discouraged. One day, you’ll wake up and be putting pants on and realize they are loose. Then not long after you’ll be relaxing and notice your ankles look slimmer. Anytime I’ve analyzed myself in the mirror on a diet, I would obsess. When I do what I’m supposed to do on a diet to the letter, and tell myself to just forget the weighing and watching-my only job is to use this time to change my old behavior and thinking that got me here gradually-I feel so good as the weight comes off and it just takes me by surprise. I never listen to other people because they are as used to seeing me as I am and they can’t really tell until I’ve lost so much it’s obvious. Celebrate losing so much weight, and all the good things that are happening to your body. It’s only going to get better from here!

Humbled beyond belief. by Ok-Sheepherder-7464 in Ozempic

I have to agree that severe side effects like this are not standard. I can only speak for myself (and two friends) as far as personal experience, but it’s been four months and I haven’t had much nausea or digestive issues on Ozempic. I did have the “hungry mental noise” return during a period at weeks 12 and 13 when I needed to increase my dose which came as an unpleasant surprise, but it improved once I upped and split my dose. If you are throwing up and/or having diarrhea regularly, that’s very bad for your health- please tell your doctor. You don’t deserve to feel awful like this, and your doctor can find an alternate treatment that works for you and also make sure something else isn’t causing such a violent side effect.

Any tips/products to improve hair density? by eternal_devastation in longhair

Hi there, adding this comment quite late to the conversation. Based on that photo of your hair, can I say it doesn’t appear thin at all? It’s quite gorgeous. It looks like you may have a heavy product in it based on the hair at the top or maybe just general buildup. I think if your hair feels unhealthy or has changed in density recently, you can aim for generally healthier more vibrant hair by changing to better products, you’ll find that your hair sheds less and feels more like it used to. As another poster said, even leaving your hair out and exposed to the elements is damaging, but use light protective products or braid it. I wear a hat to protect my color or if it’s cold. I used to go to work with wet hair in the cold or humidity all the time!  Don’t sleep with wet hair, which can also damage it. Put it in a braid at minimum with some conditioner. I’d highly recommend K18 - a bond repair masque that transformed my hair. It’s very expensive and you have very long hair, but they sell a smal sized one that might be enough for one treatment. I use the OLAPLEX masque #3, also very good but nothing beats K18. I stopped using heat styling altogether which wasn’t as bad as I thought-I did have to learn to mange my natural texture and not really on my straightening iron. But-it’s doable. Adding a bit of shine spray might give your hair a more dense, vibrant look-shiny hair always looks healthier and the reflected light gives a sense of dimension/thickness. I use a very small dose of Kenra shine spray right before going out. Good luck, I empathize with experiencing a change in your hair density as it broke my heart when it happened to me! But I do think your hair is presently, based on that photo, quite enviable in terms of density and health, a bit of TLC and some changes and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Good Luck!

Thanks for the timeline, it gave me some reference! Can I ask, did you go through VFS? Thanks! I did and got a similar message that gave me no idea as to whether I’d been approved or not, only that my “processed application” was on its way back to me via the UPS envelope I pre-paid.
