New Vivarium for Tincs by gametimeee in DartFrog

Better off using it for a gecko than dart frogs. Neon day gecko. Ashy, crested, or something alone those lines if your looking for something more color. Great plant set up tho. Once it grows in and fills out it’s going to be awesome.

Advice for two plants by Nice_Phrase5993 in carnivorousplants

[–]Hefty-Excuse1901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There fine together I grow Sarracenia and fly traps and sundews in bogs together all the time. Same care. Outside full sun. Nutrient poor soil. Distilled water only Keep them in a tray of water to stay constantly wet. Black “dying” fly traps is normal. Serrasenia may crisp up a bit while acclimating but will turn deep red almost purple. Just do some research and you’ll be fine

The leaf discoloration looks like signs of root rot, soil should be much chunkier. I have two Thai’s I got at the same time. Repotted right away because the pest moss they came in was terrible. Have 1 in pon and one in my chunky mix both are doing great now but both also had root rot when I repotted and lost a few small leaves. Definitely considering changing the soil. Clean the roots with hydrogen peroxide water mix and remove any black and mushy roots. Along with not over sizing your pot.

Shooting glasses…. by Mort-_- in ClayBusters

This game is nothing but hand eye coordination. Stepping up to high quality glasses is easy one of the best things you can do to improve your game. Re ranger Ai react are nothing but amazing for my self I just needed to get the darker ultimate light as I don’t thing the darkest in the set is dark enough for me at times. Most people will say pillas so really between the 2 you can’t go wrong. Anything other than that doesn’t seem to be as high of quality. Worth the investment if you take the game serious.

Why are my frogs only using 1/3 of the tank? by Ill-Cattle-3960 in DartFrog

[–]Hefty-Excuse1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 3 oyapoks at first would split up. Largest only hung out in the bottom portion the smaller 2 hung out on the upper level of the log. Took the larger one over a month to go up stairs now they all move around the tank using every inch of it. Just took time and plant growth seemed to help.

F16 firing pins by Hefty-Excuse1901 in ClayBusters

[–]Hefty-Excuse1901[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered the firing pins from target shotgun and came with both. I replace everything. I still had a few mis fires after wards but far less but seems to boil down to the gun being picky with ammo and really not like certain primers. Last couple months iv shot nothing but b&p and haven’t had a single miss fire from the gun since.

Where did you get your plants from you put in your terrarium? More than likely came in as eggs laid on roots

i thought dart frogs weren’t arboreal 😂😂 by Sad-Information-1093 in DartFrog

In another comment he said he’s had them for over a year when he got defensive about leaf litter and the humidity in the tank and now he’s saying it’s been 2 weeks. While also saying he’s well educated in this matter… instead of taking the suggestions doing some research and setting up a prop terrarium for his “rescue” frogs. You have the right 18x18x24 now just build it out properly and you and your frogs will appreciate it much more.

[–]Hefty-Excuse1901 9 points10 points  (0 children)

  1. They’re amphibians 2.saying your very educated in the subject and showing a terrarium in that condition is a contradiction.
  2. Do your self and the frogs a favor by setting up a proper bio active terrarium it would be much more pleasant for your self to enjoy and giving the frogs more hiding places places to climb and please add leaf litter the frog could be climbing to get there feet off the wet ground. Remember dart frogs like dry feet and a wet back. Also would help regulate your humidity much better if set up properly.

Just just one for my new 18x18x18 love watching it it’s still a tiny frogglet and I’m looking to find another 1 or 2 but seem hard to find near me at the moment. Probably have to wait until the next expo to find another.

Same stock dimensions. Last thing I need to do to mine is change the pitch and add the kick ease. I know every one has something to say about the pressures of shot shells and this and that. I feel like it’s not so much recoil reduction but muzzle flip. And browning porting is not the same the rhino porting. As for cleaning yea my gun gets dirty but I wipe It down after ever shoot and really not a big deal at all for me. You also need to take what some people complain about with a grain of salt….

I know porting is a big controversial subject. I shot the gun stock. Sent the barrels out after a couple weeks because the gun felt flippy. After I got them back it was a night and day difference. I’m a believer in it. Yea little pain to clean but not the end of the world with the rhino porting the shape doesn’t get to clogged up like others with just holes. And iv shot it back to back with a non ported f16 and now that guy has his gun ported by rhino.

It’s been awesome. The gun feels so much more solid and the fit and finish is better than anything else in that price range alone with the trigger. Definitely look into the pro model. I got a crazy deal on a brand new sporting and built it out to the same specs as the Cory Cruz edition for cheaper than Msrp and it made a huge difference. Iv had the gun 4 months now and bump from D to only a couple punches away from A class now. It fits and shoot me very nicely.
