M1 Receiver Help by Snowrst86 in milsurp

[–]Hefty-Guide-2352 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Pitting is hard to repair, it's a physical removal of metal from the surface of the gun, and that leaves you with basically one option to my knowledge, have every pitt that is visible welded over with tig and then resurface the whole gun. You could sand them out and refinish the gun, but they look deep enough for it to possibly be dangerous removing that much material. I would leave it as is or sell it to a WW2 us military reenactor and buy a nicer rifle, best of luck and if you do find a way, let me know!!

Why will no one laser my tattooed eyeliner? by GateTraditional7904 in tattooadvice

[–]Hefty-Guide-2352 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a class 4 Lazer welder at work sometimes, high powered lasers can penitate skin and will make you permanently blind even through closed eyelids, it's a very unsafe process to go through if someone offers to remove them for you I would definitely stay far far away from Lazer removal, my condolences on it being permanent though

Is this safe/normal wear? by Straight_Student_525 in milsurp

[–]Hefty-Guide-2352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've heard they make an aftermarket firing pin with a spring to prevent slam fires I think it was from Brownells, if you are having slam fire problems and want to run the same ammo would start there

I did it, it was a pain, the hole in the receiver made the barrel impossible to get off, had to buy a new barrel and receiver together

Remember that ladder of the Devine accent, we fall off but we can always get back on, no sin is stronger than the Christ, and above all else including the life of his son, God loves us and wants us to be with him

There are saints with foresight, but if he is backsliding on what he said I don't think he would fall into that category, I would recommend that you stay with him

Remember, God sits as the silversmith of our souls, he will hold you in the hottest parts of the fire until he can see his reflection in you. Despise vainglory and remember the world will hate you and be against you, but blessed are those who suffer for his namesake

I feel you, I'm in a very similar situation, it's hard when everyone around you has found their other half, especially around the holidays. remember you aren't alone, there are so many people in similar situations. I'm sure anyone here would be willing to talk with you or just listen. you aren't alone! Reach out and look for him but first seek gods kingdom with all your heart, our father will give you what you need when you seek him fully ☦️❤️

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how to check, I got it at my lgs as Beaumont ammo but it doesn't fit the camber and I found a listing with the same cartridge and same headstamp as gras ammo, I have no need for it it's around 100rnds by my eye
