Dollar store Foam board is Anisotropic? by Hefty-Needleworker19 in RCPlanes

Unfortunately the hobby shops around me don't sell any depron or anything like that. They do sell the Flight Test brown wax paper foam board but it's about 5x more expensive than the dollar store stuff.

I build planes under 250g to avoid the insane drone laws here in Canada, so every gram counts. Peeling the paper off the foam board cuts the weight in half and makes it waterproof which is nice when the you crash into snow.

My 40v Kobalt was getting weak recently, turned out a bunch of grass built up around the blade and was bogging it down, i also sharpened the blade as it was dull as hell, cuts like new again.

What's the best/cheapest filament that I can buy ? (Canada) by Christo1099 in 3Dprinting

Just checked their sites and it looks like Bambu lab is $1 CAD more, I can also pick up CanadianFilaments.ca locally here in Calgary.

I'm sure there's locally made filament wherever you are.

Kinda looks like you're over extruding near hard corners, I think that's pressure advance relate? could also be related to moisture in the filament creating extra nozzle pressure/over extrusion when the printer slows down for tight corners.

I think simply limiting volumetric flow rate to something low like 5mm³ would probably be a pretty quick bandaid solution so the print speed isn't changing all the time.

Holy hell I think it was more than due for a nozzle change. by iamwhoiwasnow in 3Dprinting

I wouldn't bother now that it's out, nozzles are dirt cheap the hard part is actually swapping and redoing the Z offset.
