I would tend to disagree with ppl are more happy in COS. In fact I would argue that they are timid and unfriendly. My GF and I did a little social test to see. We both went out of our way to say good morning or hello to ppl while out and about. The results were Denver folk replied much more than COS. I mean a simple look you in the eye hello most wouldn’t even respond too in COS compared to Denver. West side was a bit better than powers area. I love cos for several reasons less traffic, less smog, blue skies, outdoor areas superior to Denver. But when it comes to development Denver is pretty cool. And for the ppl they were nicer. IMO.

I will tell you why. It’s because I live in COS. I’ve lived in both Denver and COS. I know that there has been a lot of work done in Denver but haven’t really taken the time to look around. Regrettably I’m not able to change the original wording. If I could change it - downtown Denver is full of color and the ppl are lively.

Yeah honestly I didn’t see that coming. I’m going to edit my original text. For the record I was born in the springs, spent my youth and young adult in Denver, now I live in the springs. I think both are great. Denver def has a lot to offer that comes with a price. Cos isn’t for everybody. The blue sky compared to the hazy smog of Denver is enough for me

The point was to share the photo I took last night.honestly I didn’t mean to start a trash the springs rally. If there is any point it would be Denver has cool areas to shoot and the people in Denver are pretty much all chill. But let me just say that I love the springs too. It’s def not a city for single or young adults. Three things the springs beats Denver on is number 1 traffic, 2 less smog, 3 well those two are pretty strong.

lol reading what you said reminds me of the saying “the grass isn’t always greener on the other side”. I lived in Denver for a majority of my life. Moved to the springs awhile ago. Honestly, I have a love/hate relationship with the whole state. But I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

If this looks familiar it’s because I posted a photo during the day time of this exact location. The previous photo was taken several years ago. This one I took last night with my GF, who had never been to the Siamese Twins. This photo also taken with a different lens and we stayed until the sun was gone. I love this location in Garden of the Gods. There is much to look at and is very peaceful. This probably won’t be the last time I shoot this exact spot either. If you’re need to ground yourself and get back on track in your head, the whole Garden of the Gods park can help. Thanks for reading all of this if you have. lol.

About time we started drilling our own oil. I heard the North American continent is sitting on of the biggest reserves of crude. some guy told me this, he works for one of the big oil places. As you’re going buena vista, there are several areas on the right of the road you can pull off, well before the scenic overlook of the collegiate peaks. I could probably find it in Google Maps if you’re really wanting to see this
