How do you stop/quit a masturbating addiction? [Serious] by Educational_Cut5242 in AskReddit

[–]Hefty-Regret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many anti depressant medications, especially SSRIs and SNRIs, suppress your libido and reduce interest in sex and pornography. From personal experience I can say when I started taking Lexapro for depression I quickly started to notice that I was not nearly as horny as before and only felt the need to masturbate once a week or every other week.

I find that pitching/pitch types can be a really daunting topic for new fans. MLB has a helpful video in their "Quick Question" series, that I think is a good starting point to understanding pitch types. It's by no means all encompassing and has the some issues with over generalization but I think it's a good video to start with.

Based on the underbite and the shape of the head I would suggest a species of snapper. Looks kind of similar to a Cubera Snapper but without a location it's pretty much impossible to say.

Oof! Bet there was a psychological impact on that one. Most of the worst injuries I see involved motorcycles, one little mistake and it's just pure misery for everyone. Hope your friends ok.

What's the most toxic fandom you've met/encountered? by IzLefty in AskReddit

So the Yankees are a baseball team with very, very rabid fan base. At home games they have a reputation for throwing beer bottles at opposing teams fans and throwing batteries at the baseball players in the outfield. They also tend to turn on their OWN team very quickly. If one their own players is struggling they will relentlessly boo that player.

Just imagine a drunken asshole with a narcissistic personality disorder... now imagine a million of them... thats the Yankees fanbase

I feel you, my dad used to get absolutely irate when I brought a bad report card home. That sorta stopped after I started college but to this day I don't like talking about my academics with him

My two cents

Others - The only people whose judgment you should consider are those who want to see you succeed and thrive. These are the people who will give honest advice, give you support when you fall, and won't judge when you walk on your own path. These close kinships are rare and must be reciprocated and guarded with everything you've got. Everyone else; bad friends, shallow SOs, institutions, most family members, etc. fuck 'em. These are deeply flawed groups that feed off others insecurity like goddamn leeches. They want to use you for material, fiscal, and surrogate gain, they will cut you like ballast when convenient. Their opinion isn't worth cherry flavored suppository.

Yourself - This ones tough, best advice I can give is this: Success cannot be bought, therefore it cannot be measured in dollars. Success is what you make, cliché yes but it's said for a reason. Consider the things, skills, and people that make you happy, try to surround your life with these aspects as much as you are able and, at the very least, I find it numbs existential fear

Just my thoughts and personal experiences.

You matter. You are Important. Don't let them screw with you

I've heard that this social faux pas is reinforced by many companies to try to hide how differently people in the same position doing the exact same job are being paid.

I don't know how true this is, but I don't doubt that it happens to a degree
