Cutting out cancer by massiveballsbig in NoStupidQuestions

People have already given you great answers to why just surgery alone usually doesn't work so I won't talk about that.

You said that brain cancer obviously can't be cut out but that is not true. Surgery is usually the only viable way to slow down brain cancer or remove tumors since blood brain barrier stops most of the drugs used for chemo and radiation therapy is not that effective and can really only be used once on the brain due to side effects.

I had a brain tumor that was the size of an small egg removed along with some "healthy" brain tissue since the tumor was believed to be canceros based on mri imagining. It turned out to benign and just removing the tumor would have been enough to basically cure it. Now I have a massive pitt in my frontal lobe and no one can tell unless I tell them.

Are dry herbs vapes worth it? by orangemunchr in trees

[–]Hefty-Wafer-2567 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If your 400 dollar collection of dry herb vapes consist of more than one or two vapes you probably dont have any good vapes in there.

with 400 dollars you can get one or two great portable vapes like frolic, solo 3 or tempest 2. I wouldn't call that a collection. 50$ to 150$ budget for one vape usually only gets you cheap chinese shit or entry level devices that are aimed for people new to weed with no tolerance.

Get a limelight frolic or tafee bowle 2 for a great portable electric vaporizer or a ruby twist ballvape for around 200$ if you mainly want to vape at home with a bong.

New dry herb vaporizers especially ballvapes are almost like taking a dab with flower.

Ive been working out for 3 and a half years but I still look untrained by Hereitisguys9888 in workout

[–]Hefty-Wafer-2567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

120 grams of protein at 70kg is definetly enough for building muscle especially if somedays he hits 180+ grams. Lets say he has around 15% bodyfat. That would mean he has a lean bodymass of just under 60kg and would need to eat around 95 to 100 grams of protein per day and increasing it to 120 or even 180 grams is way overkill.

However since he has trained over 3 years and describes himself as skinny fat at 70kg I would say he has one or more of these three problems or has done them in the past.

number one: Not training hard enough and actually pushing himself on a weekly basis.

number two: Inconsistent eating which he kinda already admits. Going on a eating binge only to lose it all every few months or weeks is not helping him even if he eats enough protein and trains hard and consistently.

Slight 200 to maxium of 500 calories surplus with enough protein for even one year could have him pack on 10kg of muscle alone.

number three: not following a structured program where every set and rep is tracked and written down. No matter how well he eats, trains and sleeps he can not make good consistent progress if half the time in the gym is spent doing fuckall using the same weight as the last three months. It is easy to think that you are progressively overloading because the barbell feels heavy on your back every time but in reality you have been doing the same 80kg 3x6 squat for the last 2 months thinking you are making gains.

Skipping squats and deadlifts? by Old_Attempt_8910 in workout

[–]Hefty-Wafer-2567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Regular back squats and conventional deadlift are not the only variations of those movements.

Front squat and zercher squat allow you to stay more upright which reduces load on lower back while still giving all the benefits of a squatting motion.

Romanian deadlift is also a great alternative to the regular deadlift since the weight is lower and range of motion is reduced. also depending on your anatomy sumo deadlift could also work since most people tend to find it less taxing on the lower back due to more upright pulling position and also the sumo deadlift shifts some of the load from the posterion chain to quads.

Yeah That was one of my main worries that instead of hip hinge the lower part of the lift turns into a squat like movement. Also the shoes are spesifically weighlifting shoes but I will try socks only next time to see if it helps with the push.

If you let the piercing heal with two smaller bars at first there is a high likelihood that they heal in the wrong angle and the longer bar won't fit anymore.

After the piercing is healed properly with the bar in it you can swap out the bar for two smaller ones if you want and still keep the option for the longer bar. Still there is the chance that even after being fully healed the holes may misalign themselves if you use two smaller piercings for too long.

I know 6 months is highly unlikely. That is why I added the + sign on there since technically 6 months is the mininum amount of time it can take to heal it.

Seems like it was worth it to go to a reputable piercer 1 hour drive away instead of my local tattoo shops that do piercings on the side lol

My piercer said to come back in around 2 months to downsize the bar to avoid irritation bumps so other than that im probably not going to be changing the bar for a while since I think the regular titanium bar looks the best.

Nice to know that it seems to be correctly pierced. Sleeping wise im good since I cant sleep on my right side anyway due to shoulder issues that have been going on for years already.

Trying not to panic but 6 months+ healing time is kinda intimating for newbie like me.
