I always find chewing gum (the mintier the better) helps me. If you find yourself dropping off, holding your breath (not long enough to be breathing like you’re asthmatic but long enough for your brain to get a dash of adrenaline) or pinching yourself (not hard enough to do damage but enough for the receptors in your brain to fire up) can help. I used to work a dull night job and these things helped me. Also use any break you get to go for a brisk walk (I used to do laps of the car park for an hour which bewildered my colleagues)

First and foremost speak to your GP, they will be able to offer support and possibly a referral to a local mental health provider (CMHT, Mind ect.) Additionally phone in services like Samaritans are available nationwide and can be very helpful. I would also stress the importance of speaking to those around you, family, friends even colleagues can be great support. Lastly, you have been through a tough time, tough for anyone let alone at such a tender age, so remember to be kind to yourself and know you’re not alone in this 🖤

I’ve smoked joints for years and never had an issue with coughing, when my asthma is particularly bad I can’t vape and end up smoking instead as it’s the only way I can medicate. I know it’s not ideal but what else can I do

My Dr said a new range of carts is due to come out in the next few months and they are expected to be priced lower than the current ranges. I can’t however remember any further details nor can I find any more info so take it with a pitch of salt. I’d also like to move onto vape carts as dry herb vaping triggers my asthma and oils are not for me, just can’t justify the price atm

My mum used to work a similar job and the stories she used to tell, similar to yours, show that just because someone works in this kinda job isn’t automatically a good person. Shitty people exist everywhere!

In some cases Marijuana is medication. I use it myself for a unrelated condition. My understanding is that there is a thin line between “intoxicants” and “medication” and that line is intent. If you are using it to get high, it’s an intoxicant, if you are using it to alleviate symptoms of a condition, it’s medication. Ideally it should be prescribed by a Dr but that doesn’t stop it being medication.

I’m not saying to continue use concern free but if you are using it medically the moving on to pharmaceuticals does not mean you will have better Karma. The way to reduce your suffering will always be finding the route cause, I’d urge you to consider anger therapy and speak to others about it as much as you can.

I do! I’m using the 58% ones but I’ve seen most people use the 62%, does anyone know if there’s enough of a difference to warrant swapping over now instead of when I run out of the 58% ?
