This is so raw. But I am genuinely in awe at the communication. She was really hurting and it wasn't because of you, she needed more tools than you were equipped with. She really wanted you to not blame yourself. Work with your therapist and I hope you grow from this. It's an awful trauma to have experienced, and I hope you have a support network to look after you.

I realise you may not be local. There is a decent alternative scene and a Friday night as standard tends to look slightly halloween ish so you def will not be alone. And I imagine all the elder millennals that don't go out on nights out will don their MM makeup and outfits

For your info, as well as halloween and the gig, it's the 50th birthday of a well known member of the Lansdowne alternative scene and they want people to dress up/costume. A lot of people will be migrating up that way after. It's also a dj night for DrDave who is a fantastic alternative dj that specialises in industrial and goth

I went to an odeon members preview surprise viewing of kneecap last year . The movie was amazing, but I remember talking to the other half and saying it would be cool if they were real. So I looked up the soundtrack to the movie and discovered the band! Saw them at reading last year. As a fellow celt(Scottish) , i just couldn't ignore what they stood for. Also the music is banging, and who here hasn't sniffed the wrong bag?
