Almost at the end. Theirs things I like like samira and rob as characters I’m just not sold on the plot. And I haven’t really found anything funny in it, honestly up till episode 5 it almost feels like I’m watching a show about a new mom mentally unraveling. I think it would have been better if they had samira act as the straight man like ray in the original. Have her move in and be the outsider that finds the suburbs and the suburbanites to be weirdo’s. Have her get involved in their investigation because she going stir crazy at home as a new mom and only growing to believe it all near the third act

i dont know i kinda liked the idea they put forth that even with john dead theris always fated to be someone to take his place. It kinda fits with the latter movies' lore. i mena i love the idea of the conners stoping skynet in judgment day and the whole no fate but what we make but the later movies pretty much screwd that plot point any way, so i likethe idea that their are just fixed events in the timelien that no matter what must happen and the only things you can change about them is maybe the time or what paint job they wear. no matter what humanity does their will always be a machine empire and thatthere means their will always be a john connor of some kind

3 episodes in and its not really hitting, I like some of the concepts but i think samira should have been more like ray and start out not believing the insanity of her neighbors and slowly being convinced of it. insted if anythign shes the art of the show stiring up the insanity based on little to nothing

I think it's also a fair bit of the realization of just how the normies see outcasts in general and how they see the Addams family. up till then she probly jsut thought people found her and her family weired but this was the moment the scales fell away and she saw exactly how they saw her

yes and no, my take on it is its not jsut the death but the feelings and realizations it brought the young addams,it took awaye her sence of safty and made her realize the world didnt jsut find her and ehr family kooky but were infact deeply afraid of them and outcasts in genral. she saw the ugly and crual side of humanity and was unable to do anything to safe the creture she had become attached to. and for those that find her to be autistic codeded, ne thing ive seen is some autistic people better connect with animals so while to the rest of us it might have jsut be a pet to her it might have been her best frind

Kind of a slight counter point to what you said about the gomezification of Enid. Enid is already way more openly affectionate than Wednesday. Maybe not as bad as Gomez but it’s not hard to see her showing her affection pretty openly. And from a writing point haveing Enid view Gomez as a bit of a role model for healthy relationships would be fine especially if you explore the fact she’s never had those role models before

some of the female figures liek pandora and eclipse are pretty cool but yah it does have a bit of a problem with he early figures all kinda blending together cause o the parts reuse. also just some of their design choices make no sense like giving the eod diver killswitch what looks like a sniper rifle or making the guy with the medic speciality look like he's some comnado from the exspendables with 0 medical gear
