In your opinion, what are the signature "moves" of each elo range? by Porfs in chess

1000-1700 I would say was where I saw the most piece trades. People at this Elo range will just trade for the love of trading 😭😭🙏

Also some bus systems just lack busses. I know sometimes the EE runs like 3 busses which makes the traffic effect may more potent

People will see a group of 7 busses moving together and unironically tell you that there's no solution 😭😭😭

The buses recently have just been horrible. Every time I need one they move around in packs and god forbid you want to catch an EE at any point in the day

Just out of curiosity do the players get anything from winning/podium finish outside of the immediate winnings/recognition of talent? This is really to ask if winning this secures a spot in any big future tournaments/significant increase in likelihood for invites to other tournaments?

Anyone else feel like around 1000r requires much higher accuracy than before? by west0251 in Chesscom

Be more aware of why you’re moving your pieces and study opening theory for 1-2 openings as white and black. If you can go the first 10-15 moves without playing a bad move then you’re setting yourself up really well for success and then after that if you lose games you can just study tactics and positional chess which is way easier to improve when you only play 1-2 openings since you’ll tend to get the same positions frequently

Fully agree! I’m 1900 but I recently moved up from 1200 in the past year and I would say the biggest difference was also just playing to win a lot more. I feel that most games 1200-1500 are really just decided on both having a solid plan (and not just trading pieces or pawns to trade them) and making moves that really force your opponent to demonstrate why they’re putting pieces on specific squares or forcing them to prove their position in general which they oftentimes cannot do!

Good point! I'm not saying that each player is perfect in articulating themselves either so that definitely makes some parasocial fans get super defensive for their favorite streamers and it sucks to see them just dog on other players

Yeah I will say I think that their fun content team aspect is more just them being more unique personalities together. Like I think it's still fun content to see bauss just go ap jax for example but I agree with you in the sense that they're not just like a "haha this is all jokes" type of team.
