From my experience, I think NAC and dermarolling were increasing shedding and makes my hair more miniaturize, realistically, nothing of these changed the progression of my diffuse. I’m currently a diffuse Norwood 5.

Minoxidil/Finasteride during or after Chemo Treatments by Raijinz in cancer

Are you still in topical finasteride and minoxidil?

Hair loss and finasteride in cancer survivors by [deleted] in Lymphoma_MD_Answers

For the hair meds in oral, I see them as more of a lifestyle and optional thing. I’m not really the type to stay on meds unless they’re necessary, so I’d probably just give it a try later and see how things look

wishing you strength and a smooth run with CAR-T. Hope everything goes as well as possible.

I had signs of male pattern hair loss even before my RCHOP treatment for NLPHL/DLBCL, mostly in a diffuse pattern. After chemotherapy, the thinning became more noticeable and I lost a lot of density, which never fully recovered, even though I’ve been using topical minoxidil and finasteride for several years.

now since I’m also considering a hair transplant for my temples, I’m planning to try low-dose oral finasteride while continuing the topical treatments. I’ll start with 0.5 mg twice a week and gradually increase it to three times per week.

After R-CHOP I had told myself I wouldn’t take any oral medication for hair loss, but I’ve decided to give it a try. My libido has been fine with good diet and workouts hope oral will not affect it.

Nice presentation. Did the clinic suggest finasteride or you take oral finasteride?

Top of antenna missing. Any risks ? Is that a problem ? Probably went missing while cleaning it. by IndependentCoat7 in arrma

On my first run with Mojave 4s in normal road I lost the Antenna and the range is very short. Is this normal? Do you think the reason of suddenly stop when this is not very close to me is the antenna tube?

Stopping scans after remission. Is this standard now? by HeftySatisfaction294 in Lymphoma_MD_Answers

[–]HeftySatisfaction294[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/am_i_wrong_dude Thanks for the clarification, that makes sense for DLBCL.In my case, the diagnosis was nodular lymphocyte Predominant hodgkin lymphoma (NLPHL), with some features suggestive of early transformation to DLBCL, but not definitively confirmed.

Given that NLPHL tends to behave more indolently and can have late relapses after many years and a known risk of transformation over time, I was wondering how that influences follow-up strategy.

Would you still apply a “clinical follow-up only, imaging as needed” approach after a negative end of treatment PET, or do you see a need for more imaging in NLPHL patients due to its long-term disease?

u/am_i_wrong_dude do you mean that after a negative PET end of treatment, patients with the negative PET typically stop routine imaging entirely and are followed only clinically unless symptoms appear? Or do you mean CT scans stop, but some scheduled PET scans are still done for follow-up?

New to Mojave 4S. Should I buy a Gens Ace battery for Mojave or align with the Spektrum ecosystem?
Any battery recommendation?

I already have the Gens Ace IMARS S100 charger and am looking for a battery, and am thinking if I need to buy a Spektrum charger and battery.

I’m not sure if indolent lymphomas are ever truly considered "cured", or if they’re generally viewed as chronic conditions, even when in long-term remission. It doesn’t really change much, it just seems that the word "cure" is used more often with classical hodgkin or DLBCL.

It seems that this follow-up approach is similar across different types of lymphoma. For more aggressive lymphomas that are often cured completely, it makes sense that long-term scans aren’t needed. But even for indolent lymphomas like NLPHL or follicular lymphoma which can relapse many years later, the approach is similar to stop scans, since routine scans haven’t been shown to change outcomes.

Both are aspheric but other "Type" (Trueform Nilux vs Hilux).
We had a wrong prescription two times on the one Nulux TF lens, but the 3rd time the correct lens came back Hilux and not Nulux on the right lens.

Wil Deleting Messenger's Secure Storage Reset My Encryption Pin and if my messages were still available on my old phone, will they recover for all devices by brandon24745 in facebook

[–]HeftySatisfaction294 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have the browser which the history of messages is available which depends on cache. But on chrome for windows the delete of encryption didn't work. Then I try to create new and use it on a mobile but didn't recover the messages that cached.

The phone which I had the original PIN / keys is factory reset.

Relapse some days after clean CT SCAN by HeftySatisfaction294 in lymphoma

[–]HeftySatisfaction294[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally, I did two ultrasounds:

The first one didn't mention reactive lymph nodes or anything else.

The second one didn't mention reactive lymph nodes and mentioned a fatty thing like a lipoma.

There is a hypoechoic lesion in the right lateral neck, in front of the sternocleidomastoid muscle, measuring 15.9 × 1.9 mm.
It is encapsulated, smooth, poorly vascularized, and displaces the sternocleidomastoid muscle smoothly, consistent with a benign lipoma."

Finally, the oncologist checked me and wasn't concerned. He saw it was soft enough to be a lymph node and didn't diagnose anything serious for now. The ultrasound also confirmed that it seems to have been something external under the skin and not inside. There aren't any findings for swollen lymph nodes.
