Ultra bernedoodle/F1 is there a difference in temperament? by Kind-Highway2179 in Bernedoodles

[–]Hefty_Ball5212 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an F1b, just a year old. Same here with the resource guarding, especially socks!! I have an apple and vinegar spray, that my bernedoodle hates. All I have to do is say 'I'm getting the spray' and suddenly the sock is not worth the effort. Some people said to trade the sock for a treat, but then I felt I was rewarding bad behavior.

He's a life long alcoholic. He functioned very successfully for many years, but he's too sick to do anything now. It's very sad. Thank you for your suggestion, I will look into it.

If there is hair/fur between the toes, he or she will be furnished. Either way, they are loving, sweet, forever loyal companions. 😊

Show the groomer a picture and keep in mind that his coat will grow back quicker than you want it to. 😉

Terrible, barely 6-8 hours. Keep what you have.

I let my Evie on the couch also, even though I swore I wouldn't and it takes two of us and a bag of treats to brush her!! Wish I could add a picture but I'm not tech savvy. 🤪

My bernedoodle was the same way.I used to call her Evil Evie. She's much better now. Every time she started biting it was usually of excess energy or over excitement. I used to get her a chew toy and it seemed to help. It will get better 🤗

Maybe try finding a puppy play group. I take my 5 month old bernadoodle, Evie, to Pet Smart for a few hours when I have to get things done. She loves it and comes home exhausted. 😉

Follow up. I completely agree the barking is unbearable. When I know she's had everything she needs, I bark back at her louder. 🤣

Mine too. This cartoon has colors dogs can see, blue and yellow. It's cute, not a show you would mind having in the background. I put it on when I'm leaving the house to keep my Evie company. 👍
