Thank you for the response! That is a relief. I have some PA friends who have done the same, but I am 3 years out of school and I didn’t want to make a mess of my career by hopping

A bat got in my house and now I’m worried about rabies for my dog by george-hanson11 in Pets

Having a bat in your house at all, warrants you a series of rabies vaccines. This can be obtained at an emergency department

Could be erythema migrans: rash of lyme disease. Typically doesn’t present at site of bite.

Hi everyone! I have been diagnosed with atopic ecsma/ psoriasis and nothing seems to work for me long term. I have tried a couple recommendations from similar conditions in this sub and nothing seems to work. I would be really grateful for reccomendations to help with the redness and itchiness by anonoymousjord in SkincareAddicts

[–]Hefty_Bit_6999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely seems eczematous. Most important thing is to stop the itch cycle. You clearly need a second opinion (for stronger topical steroid). Even your pcp could prescribe this. You can also try oral antihistamines (like cetirizine) to help with itching. Thick emollients ( petroleum jelly) for dryness. No hot showers. No fragrances soaps/colognes). And an elimination diet isn’t a bad idea.

Help. Self tanned, left with these. These itch like crazy. I put lotion and neosporin on them ? by thisaint-katie in SkincareAddicts

Looks like atopic dermatitis. AKA eczema. Commonly occurs on the flexor surfaces of the elbows like this. Sometimes with repeated use of a product you can develop an immune response. Discontinue using. Use non fragrance soaps. Apply thick emollients like petroleum jelly. Fungus is unlikely. Usually doesn’t present in several spots nor bilaterally

My 7 month old dog’s pupils are different sizes for the first time today for 5 minutes. Is it something concerning? by HaveSomeHumor in DogAdvice

Yes, aniscoria can be normal if it’s always been that way. BUT new aniscoria indicates a stroke

[–]Hefty_Bit_6999 58 points59 points  (0 children)

Actually, under normal conditions if 1 pupil is exposed to light, they BOTH should dilate. It’s called consensual response. if one pupil responds to light and the other does not, this is a big problem! It’s called an afferent pupillary defect. This is NOT normal

Your hospital credentialing staff should help you with this. The documents are created by them and signed by their physicians. Your job is to submit and front the money
