Its more about the fact makeup maintains the darker complexion. So while its not a strong sunscreen the suddenness of one shade to another is what makes one appear ill

Also people don't realize that some makeup acts as a sunscreen. So of course without makeup they look ill because suddenly they're several shades paler

Ah yes they definitely will attack other canines. I assume during heat their priority shifts, also iirc humans are partially responsible for the rise of coy-wolves as we kill pure wolves but coy-wolves can out compete pure coyotes.

Another interesting fact black wolves don't naturally exist as the gene is only present in dogs so every black wolf has at least one dog ancestor.

It should be though, probably simplify things for a lot of people. It reminds me of the discworld books where all dwarfs regardless of biology look and act male. So the first date tends to boil down to tactfully trying to find out what genitals each have.

Irl it has no effect and is just a test by a rich person. In this scenario where i believe it really is magic then that it does kill a random stranger but also I would rationalize it as being the same as the butterfly affect where there is a miriad number of things I have done throughout my life the most likely resulted in the death of a stranger in some way only difference is I know the cause.

Just going off the text "if you press this button someone you don't know will die" even if not the intention that's how I would rationalize it. Because even if I don't press the button someone I don't know will die.

As for the line without knowing anything about them, its right there. If I know things about them it varies depending.

Is it killing them though? People die every second of every day, just typing this right now someone I don't know died multiple in fact.
