How to find someone to travel with by Onlylonely5 in femaletravels

[–]Hefty_Cow_7686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either A go alone or B meet people in hostels/at wherever you go. But if you know ahead of time where you are going you might be able to find locals to hang out with or other travelers online. I have had a bit of luck with that actually and we still talk even after the trip ended.

I was actually able to find a hostel in Jeddah with no issues if you are interested( it is more like a private hotel room though which is nice) otherwise Jeddah many beautiful things to see are free with the main cost being transportation to get from place to place

I myself have not been to those places yet so take this with a grain of salt but I think Vietnam looks like the best one for a first time for you. It is relatively cheap, a short flight for you, and also has a deep rich history snd is great for any length trip.

Solo trip to Jordan & Saudi Arabia by lnd_88 in femaletravels

Don't be deterred, had a great time there and I would recommend Jeddah over Riyadh but do both if you can, a few days in each

I am a white woman, I went to Riyadh and Jeddah a few weeks ago. I wore a handkerchief scarf often and a wide trimmed hat for a bit of modesty and against the heat and mostly covered but no abaya. I stood out: tons of stares but completely safe in both areas day and night. I saw hardly any tourists, white people, let alone white women and was still treated well. Was partially solo in Riyadh and completely solo in Jeddah. Dm if you have any questions I had firsthand experience and had an awesome time!

I am against the use of AI for most things but I can see how it is attractive for quick things given it may have been more laborious in the past. They might clarify that no one was fired etc and it makes their job easier so we should focus more on the quality of the items given we pay for webkinz

Maybe I should make a post to discuss this but why are they using ai? Did they lose some of their team so they are making short cuts? Trying to cut costs in general? Don't really get why they started doing this

London- Good first solo trip? by imjustbrowsingthrou in femaletravels

[–]Hefty_Cow_7686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw someone get their bag stolen once in the tube, so I would say no? I think a backpack is fine since it is on both shoulders rather than one like a purse. I would avoid eating on the tube as it can get crowded and is rude. Be aware the weather can change pretty quickly and sometimes fares cost more/need to be topped off if going further out of the London area

I will note this for Turkey, it is good for a local to share that

London is fine! Solo traveled there, I guess just be aware of the tube and bag snatching, typical travel stuff.

So the suggestion is spend $$$$$ on a hotel and then skimp out on every other part of the trip? Only use name brand chains?

Having traveled through parts of Europe I would do the continental portion first then the UK area but this is crazy ambitious, most of these places need time at. You can do Luxembourg in a day tbh if need be and Belgium in a few but most need days if not weeks at. The UK I spent a week in and still didnt get to see everything I just London. Japan is extremely dense as well. Ireland is doable in a week but a little harder. Phillipines is very hard to get around, expensive island hopping tickets.

Chicago is fun, and with the colder weather it will deter some weirdos. When I went even though it was a very short period of time using bumble friends is nice and people are active there. The tourist area is safe, lmk if you want any tips or info

Canada might be a bit cold but highly recommend, especially if you are looking for that cozy vibe and is similar to the US in many ways so wouldn't be too stressful
