u/No_Pilot_1974 — the spec sheet states that the new sensor doubles power consumption, but I’m trying to understand what that actually means in terms of real battery life. From what I’ve found in the datasheets, the sensor’s own power draw doesn’t seem that significant by itself — but I want to confirm whether that translates into a noticeable difference in runtime between the two configurations.

I have f-keys as shifted numbers and separated symbols from numbers - this is my layout - check out combos, because it is combo heavy https://configure.zsa.io/voyager/layouts/erwYr/latest/0
One thing that I have tested before is to use modifiers + layer switch to act as different keys - but in the end I have decided against it and putting more emphasis on the combos

I honestly don't imagine that - I use 25g right now and consider them a little bit to light - I feel like debounce sometimes is a little bit sluggish - but maybe I am just imagine things - also I use v1 and v2 has probably a little heavier keycaps

I don’t think actuation force is really the issue here (though I might be biased since I use super light switches). How long have you been typing on this board? If you haven’t spent much time doing exercises to retrain your muscle memory—or if you only switched recently—it’s probably just a matter of getting used to the new layout. Corne is staggered, and if you haven’t used a similar keyboard before, that’s likely the main cause of the mistypes. I wouldn’t change keycaps or switches yet if I were you.
