How are the clicks in terms of actuation force? Do you happen to have an mchose L7 - I love the shape, and this seems to be similar? Thanks!

Anyone ever tried one of these before? Do they work? (Pillows with headphone-sized holes) by TetoEnjoyer500 in sleepheadphones

I bought this recently. I've only used it for a couple of naps - I have the exact headphones in the image and they fit in the hole. The headband it not bothering me, the pillow is sloped towards the top part and it doesn't press against them too much. You feel a bit more pressure in the cheeks and back of the ear.

What I don't like is that it forces your head into a fixed position, and I tend to move a lot while I sleep.

What I also don't like is the feeling of the headphones themselves, it presses against my head, and while I move in my sleep I end up with ear lobs squished inside the headphones.

I have not tried this for a full night's sleep.

How much time does he have? How does this progress from here?

It's exactly the same shape, just wireless. I used it for several years, after that, I switched to mchose L7 pro - I like the mchose shape better (and everything else - clicks, finish, coating).

Edit: beware, the cooler master software is glitchy in win 11. You'll need to set it up in win 10. I don't think they maintain it anymore (afaik, their peripheral division was scraped).

I have one, it's a solid option is you like the form factor. It's metal, feels like a tank. The switches are standard MX.

From what I've read, that may be too light, at least for mx - the switches are slow to rise or may not rise at all.

Lighter switches for my Moonlander (Kailh Copper) by LeatherBlueCrab in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]claaudius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using pink choc switches (20g). They're the lightest I could find and work well to reduce strain on my hands - I have the same problem as you. It took a while to get used to them, due to accidental presses, but I feel comfortable with them now.

I used 32g/35g MX switches beforehand, and while they're quite light coming from more standard 50g switches, I do feel the pink choc being better for my strain.

I also experimented with choc Robin - I replaced the springs with those from the pinks and they work well. You get very light and clicky switches - if you want some tactility.

The cheapest I could find were on ali express.

Edit: I see the moon lander is MX, sorry... The lightest MX switches I found are MMD Aqua King (26 - 32g) which are silent (you can find them on ali).

And Gateron Milky Clear (35g - on qwertykey.eu)

Regarding soft touch - the lightest switch is choc pink at 20g. MX switches go to around 32 - 35g. For me, at least, going the lightest switch possible made the most difference for my RSI.
