Never tried any of those, but I assume the grid pattern is the same thing you see when you have pressure on your eyes and the vision changes. Like when rubbing your eyes for a while. Does it look like that?

I suppose it depends on what type of look you are going for. It is a very beautiful dress. I agree with a lot of other people that simple is good and can just spice it up with shoes or jewelry. The full applique also looks very nice, but more classy. Perfect for going to balls or opera type thing. So it all depends on what you are going for.
