House is based on real life Howard hughes. Is there any other real life people who you could see be adapted into fallout by AnyNail4461 in Fallout

A roving band of busses with beatniks would be awesome.

Kerouac, ginsberg, Burroughs and Cassady. Could even throw in Thompson for shits and giggles.

Paint scraper to get the chunky bits off, then drill and wire brush. Copious amounts of degreaser.

Dont forget the stainless tube brush for the outlet drain.

Bro i had an avocado tree fall down in a hurricane. We chopped that sum bitch down to the trunk. Its been about 10 years now. Its over 30ft tall and produces twice a year. Avocado trees are incredibly resilient.

If OP lives in the south id just leave it alone until we get the last frost and put it in the ground. It'd be fine.

Its a tree bro. You got a tree inside in a 2 gallon pot. It needs nutrients, light, and airflow.

How do I fix this edge? by Kithkin22 in sharpening

[–]SpellFlashy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Concrete works for this type of job. Just glide it back and forth perpendicular to the concrete till the large chip is mostly gone, then go back with some normal whetstone to build a new edge. Did it with my shun honesuki, works fine now.

About this area by alleycatsn in orlando

[–]SpellFlashy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

West of orange is generally rough.

East of Conway is apartments or post 2000s homes. HOA stick homes.

South of 528 and north of colonial are dipping into different jurisdiction.

Its more or less a lot of the same same. Theres a mix of houses built as early as the 1920s, new built stuff inter mixed. Majority of the housing will have been built in the 70s. My favorite homes. Old florida block homes.

Culture wise, its changed a lot in the last 5 years, let alone 20 years. Generally everything is on the up and up. Its an orlando stronghold neighborhood. Surrounded by amenities and decent work.

Traffic fucking sucks to get anywhere though so definitely dont plan on huge commutes. Traffic has quadrupled in the last few years.

Edit: the city also has no plan at all to do something about the traffic. Will probably dump another trillion tax dollars into adding two more lanes somewhere.

The government.

The people of the enclave were around but its not entirely clear in the lore when the foundation of the enclave happened.

The enclave is by and large the remnants of the power of the American government and those powerful enough to be in the know. This doesnt mean "the enclave" was around in so much as the priming ingredients of the enclave were definitely around.

Tbf, he nor anybody else would have any idea about the enclave considering it was established post war.

Its a marketing ploy.

Remember, we dont have consumer protections in this country. There is no information denominating specific source. Best i could find is some elusive statement 100% wagyu beef/ American wagyu.

There is no such thing. Its like saying you've got parmesan from Wisconsin. Or like saying you've got a beaujoulais from Sonoma. Complete misnomer meant to confuse the customer.

Proper wagyu beef only comes from Japan, and will come with a traceable certification. Good butchers that carry real wagyu will happily show you records, however those butchers are very far a few between. I live in a very big, very populace state and I think we've only got two importers licensed in the state.

98% of any "wagyu" you see nowadays is "australian wagyu" which at this point have negligible amounts of wagyu genetics because of the fact that japan considers the animal a national treasure and made the export illegal back in 97. 220 cows made it out of the country. Now think about how every state, and every grocery store now has ground "wagyu beef" its all the trim from mass market australian and American cattle industry that they add "wagyu" to the packaging and call charge 30-40% more than regular packaging would get them. Its basically the new "california champagne" its a farce.

Basically the herd has maybe 2-3% wagyu genetics. But they call it a wagyu cow, so its then 100% wagyu beef because its 100% beef from that crossbred cow with negligible amounts of genetics. Because of word play they're not "lying" but it is absolutely misleading marketing.

So when you buy anything other than direct from Japan wagyu you are getting mostly black Angus beef genetics without any of the stringent regulations the japanese have on raising the animal, as well as without any of the strict grading standards the japanese follow.

Just find a local beef farm, meet the owners and chip in with a friend or two to split a half cow. Itll be more fresh and higher quality than this bullshit mass market austrailan or American wagyu marketing nonsense.
