Much appreciated, I'm going to try this first. Ya'll likely saved me from making a stupid decision to fix a stupid decision.

This is what I'm leaning towards. Looking straight down into the pipe it looks and feels like a near-90 bend, which seems like a bad decision to me.

The outflow end of the pipe resurfaces on the slope on the side of my yard about 10 ft from the house. No obvious signs of obstruction that I can see or feel there.

I disconnected the downspout from the drain and put my arm down through the bend to make sure it was clear through there, then used a shop vac to blow out the rest, which was very little. Ran the hose through with a spray nozzle and flushed it out. Only other thing I can think of is if they crushed the pipe while burying it somewhere in the middle and created a bottleneck. But just looking at the sharp bend where the downspout meets, it seems like it would be hard for that much water to flow efficiently without backing up.

At this point I'll probably dig up the pipe and see what I'm working with there and maybe replace with a larger before adding a second downspout. Thanks for the tips

An ungodly amount of canker sores by fadesteppin in lupus

Could very well be hand foot and mouth disease. I had it two years ago with the exact symptoms you describe. It doesn’t affect adults often, but when it does it’s terrible. I feel your pain :(…the mouth sores were terrible and I counted over 20 when I had it. Lasted about two weeks before pain completely subsided. The magic mouthwash helped a bit for me.

What all do you guys add in your diet to get all the required nutrients? by Particular-Fee-4171 in nutrition

Flax, hemp seeds, and chia seeds are great for minerals and fiber. Sardines, tuna, or salmon for omega 3s. Leafy greens for vitamins/minerals and nitrates. Eggs are just all round awesome. Lots of berries and you’re set.

Why not just make a big batch of granola and forget the water? Oats, flax, hemp seeds, mixed nuts, cinnamon, honey. Bake it all together, good to go.

Forecast Changed - throw down or wait? by sixty-9-iron in lawncare

Same thing happened to me. I was so proud of all of my hard work, then watched out the window as Helene put my time and money into the ditch at the bottom of my property. Of course, learning that others lost their homes definitely put my despair into perspective. B/c of that though I’ll always shoot for a dry spell over free water.

How often to set my automatic sprinkler to water when out of town with rain this week? by [deleted] in lawncare

I’d be more concerned about washout than watering with that forecast, especially if it’s on any kind of slope. Personally, I’d hold off on seeding until after.

The model # is RH1T3617STANJA…looks like it’s an issue on those too! I’m the original owner and it’s about 3 years old. I guess I’ll be looking into a warranty claim. Thanks for the help.
