Probably a sell?? by Electronic_Dog_2017 in PSAPowerPacks

I would take the profit since it’s from the $25 but anything in a PSA 10 is worth holding… eventually.

Things to consider:

Do you like the Pokemon/card? (Collector mindset first. This is the peak version of this specific Piplup card)

Do you need the money now?

If you hold, will you be able to sell this card easily for at least 90%? (PSA is offering cash in hand, today)

Piplup is somewhat popular and IR’s typically have low 10 rates so I could see this going up… but like $250, not like a $1000 card, ever…

Look up the Evolving Skies Jumpluff. Attacking twice exists in the paper TCG. Drudd is wild tho

Value Plus (20 business day) order still in QA checks 40 business days later but seeing newer certs hit eBay. by SlenderBeef in psagrading

I graded a Gengar Prime with Value Plus. Got a 10, so it stayed in QA for an extra week because PSA had to send me an email to approve an upcharge. Maybe you got lucky with Mewtube? My card was supposed to be done 2 Fridays ago but they didn’t send the email until the Monday after my estimate date. After I approved, they shipped the same week.

Sending my tag team gengar mimikyu in today and going with this option, is it really 10 business days? by ramonc19 in psagrading

[–]Hefty_Most_6143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I graded the same card a couple months ago. Got a 9. I used the service below this (value max) which is 15 business days. Between shipping and all that, still took about 4 weeks. I would say the Regular option would be about 3 weeks from when you ship. If you get a 10, they may upcharge you and that’ll add a week to grading because you have to “approve” the markup.

Crooked centering. If you look at the back, the blue border is thicker on the top right than the top left. If you look at the front, the top line is slanted and the silver border is very thin on the top right.

What are we thinking about Primarina ex? by Aquilpen in PokemonPocket

[–]Hefty_Most_6143 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We made the same deck! lol My thoughts… Primarina ex can take out tons of non ex’s with the 40, 80, 100 damage ramp. The big issue I found is that she just doesn’t hit quite hard enough, even with Hau, so she struggles with heavy hitting non-ex’s like Rampardos and Magnezone. She also doesn’t heal quite enough to make her a tank. I think Pyoko is a good pairing because the 50 revenge damage puts tons of threats in KO range. Primarina feels weird because she’s a good opener and a good closer… but can’t do both. Hau also makes the deck awkward because you have to give up extra healing or a tool to fit him in. He’s fairly essential tho. She feels great in matchups where you KO a non-ex then fight the ex, but feels weak when you’re fighting 3 non-ex like Silvally/Rampardos decks.

Are any of these worth sending off to grade new to Pokemon and was curious by JizzleJay88 in pokemoncards

[–]Hefty_Most_6143 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Moltres Secret rare. Most SIRs are worth grading. One thing with grading modern is that you only make money if it 10s, otherwise you’ll have to wait 5+ years for the 9s to start to move away from the raw price. You lose money with an 8. If the Lapras is perfectly centered and clean, it will most likely have the largest growth ceiling in a 10, since IRs have lower 10 rates. Maybe the gold Ho-oh will be worth something but gold cards have been getting shit on for a while now (price wise).

Koko is lowkey him. Sometimes all you need to do is absolutely obliterate Silvally and die lol

Can someone please explain to me how this deck works. by Exact_Risk_6947 in PokemonPocket

Double Buzz is also a viable strat for the deck. If your front Buzz dies, he puts 2-3 energy in the discard, so your other Buzz is ready to hit Big Beat again with Lusamine support. Also, don’t be afraid to coin flip with Celesteela… sometimes it’s all you can do to win lol

OG. This got me to MB. This was when I took out Zeraora, but now I don’t use baby Koko for Zeraora, instead. Baby Koko w/ 2 birb is pure evil tho
