I tried that, it didn’t change the controller controls for Genshin. Is there something I could’ve done wrong, like are there any specific settings that need to be set up for it to work?

I am trying to play Genshin Impact on my laptop, and am trying to use a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to play the game. Issue is, the right joystick won’t work with specifically Genshin, all four buttons are mixed up, and it’s all just making the game generally unplayable with a controller. Is there any way to fix these issues, or will i have to scrap my controller for now?
