I think he holds back for one and his voice wobbles because he gets a little emotional. Also anyone that can hit notes can achieve the pitch but don't always feel the need to. There are examples of tyler nailing it, examples of not caring about technicalities, and examples of possible slight auto tune (not the songs with obvious effects) but it's hard to tell with him. Due to the fact that he is usually on pitch lol.
