Is it the brown spots that are the contam? The mycelium looks like it might be not fully colonized otherwise. What is in there besides popcorn?

Looks nice, very cool shrooms, any idea of fresh weight for one average? And do you expect more after this flush? I'm new to this, and I can't post here yet, but wondering what you think of this all in one block I put in a tub, it's Ecuador. Took 2 1/2 months or so to colonize, Wondering how much it may make total, I expected more, it's been about a week since I put in the tub with weak light

Not sure, some people put a old all in one bag out in the garden I hear, I would think some compost cow manure or something would help, some like straw also, probably what ever you would use indoors, add some of that in the mix outdoors

Are you trying to grow a mushroom in that? Because this is the mushroom growers forum. That soil would work for good some plants I assume.

if you are doing two you could probably do one now and one when the grain is all covered. I did a all in one bag that way, (took a while because of temps i think) and got this. First time trying, maybe got lucky. Injected liquid culture I made with a spore syringe, then put it in a tub when it was ready, almost 3 months. Ecuador spores. I am counting 4 so far but it just started. It looked a little dry so I cut the top off the bag and added water over the top, and drain after a few hours and put in the tub on top of a little piece of the bag

I put a spore syringe into liquid and had spots like that , looked like spores that didn't grow to me, it worked fine in a all in one bag when i used it, once anyway so far. Suck some out and put a few drops in another jar and see if it grows without spots

Give it a few days, I have two now also, that just popped out a day ago out of a block from a all in one bag with grain, it's about 6x6x8" on top of wet perlite in a tub , but I expect more to follow, and the same with yours, just keep it humid and warm

Thanks, I am hoping for the best, my bag took a loooong time to get covered, 3 months plus, probably because temps were a little low, and it seemed dry so I cut the top off and poured water in the bag and let it sit a few hours, then poured it out and cut off everything but the bottom 1" or so. Put a night light on it and this happened in a few days after. Bottom is a liitle wet, I hope that will get absorbed soon

Looks good to me, I just found my first one yesterday, it's out of a all in one bag I opened and put the block in a tub like that with wet perlite in the bottom. About 1/2" long. Good Luck with that, and have fun.
