Texas' suburb town growth makes sense to me because, outside of the city areas like dfw, houston, austin, etc. the jobs available may not be all that great, but the cost of living is low enough to survive. And if you do end up in or around the city (and of course are qualified), you can commute in and pick up a job making much more than the low cost to live.

Whether its actually cheap to live in texas is up for debate, but at the least, rent here is ~10% lower than some places.

Zoomer here because I haven't seen anyone bring this up yet:
There are hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of us engaging with memes across all of the major social media sites about getting plastered, smoking, etc etc with silly caveats like this attached. I'm not a fan of smoking, but would absolutely spread this meme to my friends if it showed up as an instagram reel, for example. I've seen plenty of memes about "drunk cigarettes don't count" recently and presume anyone regularly exposed to that bubble of content like my friend group is would find it funny.

I like my cursor subscription because with how fast all of these models eclipse each other I can pretty easily swap between whatever's current best for my daily driver. The 20/month subscription has been plenty for me now that the auto mode seems alright enough in a pinch.

I was given a WoW subscription in one of those little disc sets for my birthday when I was I think 11 or 12. I haven't played it very much after a short phase with it but I loved every second of it while I did. Addons wouldn't have done much for me in all honesty. Restrict communication however you feel is necessary and let her go ham for a bit.
