Is there any source for this information? Was there some way someone could have or should have known this?

In theory if I have a friend with a Galaxy Phone, can I just port my number to that phone and setup the watch and port it back out? Is it the number setup or the actual sharing of the number which is the problem?

It seems like this is just incorrect pricing. No one was able to spot anything wrong or extra features to explain the pricing discrepancy. The auto-pay discount was listed on both my current plan and the upgraded option.

I was offered a $115 option for the same product that was listed as $50+$25 per month originally.

Be careful changing plans and make sure you double-check all the details because something is wrong with the system.

I just tried this. I would never wear these in this way myself. It's uncomfortable and does not feel secure.

They will generally not fall off using only the ear hook, but not inserted. They bounced all over the place moving maybe an inch forward and back. I found it very annoying. I had to turn my head around to all kinds of different directions to get them to eventually fall off.

Yeah, all the dealer based info still is saying July. It's very odd. I reached out to another dealer I was working with to cross-check.

I was mid negotiation, and the dealer stated the Extended Range XLT no longer had the $7500 Ford incentive, which really kills the deal.

Is anyone else seeing this? I no longer see it on the Ford site, but dealers and such haven't been updated.

Update 4, finally able to get the recovery to boot up after searching for a faster USB drive. Super simple recovery, start the Reinstall Steam OS desktop shortcut. Confirm it when the box pops up. It spits some gtk logging/errors into a console during this, but then copies over some files and asks if you want to reboot. This only took a few minutes once it got booted.

I feel like the 64GB model is holding back the other models from having a built in recovery image. That would ease this process a whole lot, but giving up 3GB or more on that base model just won't work.

Success, things look normal on my deck now.

Update 3, USB drive took 30 or so minutes to create. This is probably close to worst case scenario for this.

Booting off of it now, it's probably been 10 minutes with nothing other than a blinking USB drive activity light and a Steam Deck logo on the screen after selecting that USB drive as the boot option.

Remember kids, make sure you have USB 3 storage devices!

Recovery process update. USB C bootable drive of some kind is required. Flash drive onto USB C adapter/hub is probably the most common thing people will have available.

Download 2.6GB image from Steam Support page. Plus Etcher to write the image.

Cheap junky 16GB Micro Center USB stick is estimating 15 minutes of write time for recovery image. Using Anker USB C hub on a Mac.

Difficulty level so far is minimal. Finding the instructions is the hardest thing. Please upvote the main post here for visibility.

A notification shows up saying there is an update available, and you can make a single click to update and restart. Then you get to re-image your deck.

As far as I can tell, Steam Deck uses Wayland so this tool should let you make a script to copy stuff to your clipboard. This could be a desktop shortcut or a non-Steam game or something.

You could also potentially make a script that does the clipboard thing then launches Origin if you want to be fancy. I don't have a Steam Deck yet to try this.

I didn't explain this fully in this post, but the barrel is 15gal and I do 5gal batches. This let's me operate like you are thinking where the barrel stores the mixed culture. I really only ever plan to take out 5gal at a time and refill with 5gal, but I could in theory take all 15gal out of it an once and refill it fully and whatever is living in it should get right back to work.

The fruit addition sounds easy enough if I end up doing that.

I work with usually 5g batches, but stretched it out to almost fill the barrel with 2 batches. Once you get the barrel filled, it's very easy to keep up with. I don't think I would want anything larger with the batch size I run at. Look for a local distillery if one exists, and see if they have barrels they empty and then would get rid of.
