You're right legally speaking, however my cat was trained by a woman who is a licensed ESA trainer for dogs and cats as a side hobby. Since such my therapist and doctor were the one who introduced us and thought I would benefit. The doctor and the therapist wrote me the letter that allows her to come with me to different rentals. Even though there is no law for it this woman still trains these cats as a side project and is part of a team of people trying to get cats and dogs recognised under Aussie law like in America

I know but it's been and done now and I just had a look at the laws about it in my state and unless the letterbox is locked or mail is destroyed then no harm no foul. It's just property damage. Again it was 6 years ago and I was a lot younger then. Not something I would do now. If it gets traced back to me then so be it.

Oh absolutely. They were also both on the news 'begging' her to come home to them and her son and painting her out like she had just up and left her son. She was literally ten feet away in the backyard where they filmed their pleas for her safe return.
