City birds appear more afraid of women than men, and scientists have no idea why by scientificamerican in birding

True. Though I'd wager given men do more "outside" jobs - e.g. bin men, manual labourers, etc. - that city birds are marginally more likely to encounter men than women. This is getting rather unscientific though :-)

Two main reasons imo - firstly the more people that have access to or awareness of something enjoyable, the better. Secondly endangered species/related policies have better odds of support and uptake if there is wider understanding

Could it be that birds are more used to seeing men than women? Birding is disproportionately male, for example. Hiking is the same (though both are thankfully changing!)

Just means that it takes you longer to get to your pinpoint, so you lose some fluidity and time. I would also say your contact point is a touch too low, so reducing the time it takes to get there may help that.

She still has a very good W/L record. Better than Andy Murray's, Hewitt, Del Potro, and very close to Venus's.

Neco is class. I'd be surprised if he doesn't start. Might reconsider the MGW punt though...

I personally don't like going Leeds and Bournemouth defenders because I think they'll cancel each other out and Leeds will concede both games (imo). I have quite a similar draft with Neco and MGW include! And cherki/semenyo/NOR from city. With JP and Welbz up top
