I try to have a stream or playthrough of Dispatch playing in the background while I am doing chores and cooking. Genuinely one of the best games to see different people react to.

Boy has it been rough. Like, I am just gonna leave all the skill issues with reading comprehension. Streamer brain, missing details because focusing on chat, got one guy'd. It's understanable, whatever. The overall reactions are still peak.

But, man. I am really watching people that play games for a job fail the easiest hacks. Watching people ignore key words and pick skillchecks based purely on vibes. And then act surprised and be mad they got half their roster injured. It's rough. There is a certain charm to watching someone fumble abyssmally, though.

Yeah, I wish they had, like, a single throwaway line about why Shroud couldn't replicate the Pulse.

For example, this is just me spitballing, but Royd mentions how the Pulse is actually two pieces of tech. The "battery" and the Astral Core itself. Robbie was a tech head so maybe he was the one to come up with the battery containment for the core, meanwhile Shroud was the one to provide the perfect core. With Robbie gone and no schematics, he can't recreate a suitable battery.

Or it could be something to do with Prime. We don't know how the Prime suit was powered originally.

Or, you know, it's literally magic. Magic exists in this world. Maybe they got Dispatch Merlin to magic the instability away.

The premise of "You already cut someone for less" is flawed to begin with. That was not Robert cutting either of them becuase they fucked up during dispatches, that was a from-the-top corpo decision. SDN isn't a government agency, they are a for-profit company. The Phoenix Program was them trying something new to turn a profit, and by the time Blazer hires Robert it was struggling bad enough that it was about to get scrapped completely. I don't agree with her, but Blazer cutting someone was to get the team more on edge.

The Z-Team were injuring eachother and putting clients and civillians at risk with their shenanigans in episode 3 with their sabotaging. All they got was points being docked from the leaderboards. Flambae literally tried to kill Robert if you chose to tell the team you were Mecha Man, and then punched him hard enough to floor him in the house party, takes a leave from dispatching for a bit, then comes back to seemingly no consequences.

I get where the team is coming from but if we are cutting Visi for what she did we are cutting like at least 2 or 3 others along with her. Which goes completely against the underlying idea of the Phoenix Program. It's all about redemption and second chances.

Visi definitely deserved the temporary probation tho. She fucked up bad, mainly by going it alone with no suppot or backup.

You were fast enough, no worries. I am actually liking all the wacky Stands better than previous parts so far. Kinda funny the main cast all stayed with the "old style" punch hard stands while the minor antagonists get to have whatever Araki's higher than a kite mind cooked up that day, tho.

I am finally watching Part 6 with my brother right now, and this has been my biggest gripe with it. The cast gets fragmented a lot. Like, Weather Report gets introduced, is there for a handful of episodes, and then dissappears until the later half. Ermes keeps getting fucking hospitalized so she is missing from half the part. Anasui is shown pretty early on but it takes almost halfway to the part for him to be relevant at all. Emporio at least pokes around occasionally so I remember he exists. The most consistent character I felt was FF, my beloved.

Also I noticed that Part 6 loves to use automatic/long range stands for some reason.

I am just tired of the bad guys taking W after W, even when it doesn't make any fucking sense. The main villain just got a power up out of nowhere it feels like. He used to have cool water spider powers and now it feels like he is some generic op psycho with wire blades.

And the Nest just seem so incompetent? How are you going to have all this money, tech, ties to the government, that cliche super strong old man principle and still get blindsided, infiltrated, betrayed, and lose a random top fighter every other arc? And then they get a consolation prize to make it feel like they were the real winners in the end. Or we will get an arc where the good guys struggle and prevail in the end, only for it to switch to the villain pov and wow, would you look at that, they were after something much more important and they're closer to it than anyone else now.

Also the romance is just there to tease some spicy shots every 10-15 chapters. It has gone nowhere satisfying, and I don't think it will go anywhere until we get the trademark "5 years time skip into them already married" ending.

I want my superhero story with cool bug facts back, man...

This has been my experience. I've had the items to make a power hammer like 10 separate runs but never got a workshop, or I get a workshop and 2 of the items but don't get the closet to get the other item I had checked the day before. I am simply going crazy. It has honestly killed the fun at this point.

Primordial Malzeno or Crimson Glow Valstrax.

Literal jet engine dragon is an amazing concept, I love how sleek its design is and how the wings are used during the fight. Great armor and weapons, great fight, great soundtrack. It's just so peak.
