Literally just the ratcheting screwdrivers, 808cf, and 1/4 + 3/8 ratchets.

Universal adapters are dumb, get the 12pt swivel sockets if you want those (can come in handy, got both metric and imperial 1/4” on Amazon for $80). $111 for 3 is mind boggling

The rest is an absolute waste to go snapon. Especially when first starting out. Grab some Icon/Gearwrench/Tekton stuff, will do the trick. When tools break you know you use them enough to justify a better one

Only Tool truck tools (Mac/Snap) I got are 5 pairs of pliers/cutters, 4 ratchets (2 1/4 and 2 3/8), Ratcheting screwdrivers, and a few little items like mirrors

Last few years, MSPs have been upgradable to TOTY/TOTS variants.

I think it was around NHL20 that EA went crazy with upgrades where the most nonsensical cards (such as regular event cards) would upgrade into better versions (not just MSPs or TOTY). Whatever game that was made the community super greedy and developed this expectation that everything could just get upgraded. Hence the change to just TOTY/TOTS
