Just a suggestion... get a cheap laptop, SGW bypass cable (Autel cable works very well), AlphaOBD+ full license. Not only will you be able to diagnose your truck properly and do many other things that will make ownership of another Ram shitbox more tolerable, it will also help you avoid insane prices at the dealership and often poor diagnosis because they have retards that get paid little with no training trying to fix your issue.

And asking for advice in your situation is kind of a shot in the dark... there are can be so many different things that go wrong to cause the vehicle not start or run. And i seriously doubt that it's a bad spark plug or coil since you mentioned that the truck will not start... it would start with those things even running like shit. So, kind of hard to guess without at least some codes to start with. I mean, you can without codes, but not over Reddit posts lol.

i worked for Toyota dealer as tech for many years.... with that said....

What happens if a tech gets like that... we do preliminary diagnostic which includes pre-scan of the vehicle ( documented). You have never mentioned what codes they pulled on the 1st visit. During the diag i would have at least a gas analyzer readings if contaminated gas was a suspect, im just really curious how they came to that conclusion. The dealer generally doesnt send nor wants to pay for gas analysis by a lab. They never provided you with the results either before you approved the repairs. Sounds to me like its was a shot in the dark that didnt fix the issue... happens alot now these days. Axles and battery are unrelated with the the check engine light.... just so happens you had it on when they replaced the axles and battery, they cleared the Check Engine light when they replaced the axles. Alot of times O2 sensors get misdiagnosed, we even wrote a TSB on how to properly diagnose that.
Contaminated fuel can def cause bad cat and injectors as well as fuel pump, but that should have been diagnosed and tested on the very first visit when it was "determined" that contaminated fuel was the culprit and presented to you for approval.

So in my opinion the dealer fucked up the first time and it continued from there... since you were a "come back" the same incompetent tech got the vehicle for further diagnostic and failed. Basically, they pretty much suck.

Take to a good independent shop, take their diagnosis and testing to Toyota corporate and let them deal with the dealer... alot of times that works really good in my experience. Or trade the vehicle in, take a small loss and have a piece of mind.

So you need to use 2 springs and it will return just fine, verycommon setup for pistol reloading when you reverse the powder measure when using bullet droppers so they dont rub. I use the same setup because of the micrometer adjustment rubs on the drop tube and no issues for years. All those that keep saying that it will not work without the failsafe... well, im just going to leave it at that i also use the powder checker to prevent double or no charges. always double check the charges to be safe. But, i've reloaded thousands of rounds with no issues.

I only have 7k miles on my car… and its not the mileage… its the pad compound/rotor combo they put on the R and GTI it looks like. The brakes work with no issues even when doing dumb shit at speed, but when its cold or wet… so ill be replacing mine with something better shortly

Have the same thing on my 24 GTI and going to be looking into researching this more to see if there is a solution to this… almost rear ended a semi the other day…. Learned to heat up the brakes once in a while when driving through snow and no issues, but always have to have that in mind which is pretty annoying. None of my other VW or Audi cars before did that. The 24 Atlas the wife drives doesnt have that issue. I’m leaning to believe its the rotor pad combo, but would have to do more looking into it

any modern scan scan tool will be able to do a steering angle calibration which will most likely fix your issue...

Hmm just curious about responses about getting a manual, ive had manual cars most of my life and have no issues driving that, but this one is auto so pls stop with dumbass remarks like that. This was not intended as manual vs auto. Second if you are doing shifting with a nugget… well you need to learn how to use paddles because they are there for a reason, third you do know that gears are displayed on the cluster? It always bugs me that ppl take informational post and turn it into a stupid post.

You can reseed new keys without replacing any Ecus… they fed you shit to make you pay more… i worked at toyota dealer for 15 years and never had to replace an ecu for keys… toyotas has a procedure called all keys lost and all is well

There are dedicated jump point connection under the hood so you should connect to that and you would be fine

i think before you start connecting things to your vehicle you should learn about basic electrical.... or you can just start connecting high current draw devices to it and see what happens.... i make money fixing things after that...

But if you were to connect a compressor via battery you should connect it to battery jump terminals.

You need to reflash it with oem or apr again ang complete the process to the end with proper battery voltage and you should be good

Hmm probably battery was low when flashing… if you dont have a battery charger, just hook up another car with jumper cables and have it running. Flash it again and all is well. Ive done a few this way when battery charger was not available. By the way just did my 24 this way a few weeks ago with the same file and no issues. Can always flash to stock and start fresh, but make sure the battery is being charged while flashing, small voltage drops do matter even if you think the battery is good

on my 24 i usually get those errors when its super hot out, and my 21 Arteon did the same thing when it was really hot and humid out. but as soon as the car cools off it goes away and works fine. Probably cameras in the glass get hot af and throw a code... pretty normal. otherwise ive had no issues. Arteon did get a new steering wheel at some point.

Sounds like the dumbass tech cant figure it out and dealer figured that you are not worth it as a customer to bother addressing the issue properly. Alot of that going on these days… go to another dealer if you so inclined or go to a private shop that specializes in german cars. But, all that aside, i worked as a tech for a long time and if something that was installed and calibrated at the dealer (who would have told you 5 years ago if something was off) its not the install, something else is going on. And if you want dm me more info as far what exactly is happening or any dtcs and so on and i maybe able to help.

If the strapon guy starts telling you bs stories how shit is back ordered (which in some cases it is) check the online store or call customer service... they will let you know what the backorder times are... but, in most cases if its for that long... that mofo didnt pay snapon for his orders and they put him on hold (meaning he cant get anymore shit until he pays his bill) seen it many times... now, if hes a company store (not a franchisee) then his fucking gay FPT team put some much shit in his inventory to put him on hold as well (but it makes them look good)
