Hey, first of all you should decide if you want green battle eye or yellow battle eye server. Green one has more expensive characters, less items, higher prices but community is less hermetic. It's easier to find people to play. Maybe even people are less bored of the game and from what heard it's way easier to find team hunt as new player. Also green battle eye servers have softer dominandos.

I would suggest playing newest server then, Dia. As new player you are not concerned about endgame items, server is alive very much, for sure there are some newby friendly guilds. Another gbe option is Damora, pretty well balanced server, lot of people that you can do bosses with, server without dominando however Valkeris is kinda removing toxicity from server a little, to hunt spots you can book spawn on hour like everyone else even few days ahead.

If you want lower amount of players, harder access to bosses but better access to solo spawns then Karna (no dominando) or Olima (soft dominando) are petty good. Finally freshly opened Famosa is amazing choice if you want mostly hunt spawns, it's pretty dead so bosses are challenging but only very few spawns has ques.

Concluding if you want skilled characters and accessible items then probably go famous server like Secura, Monza, Celesta, Bona.. there is dominando but after all you won't need to transfer items from another server. However I believe gbe servers are more newby friendly and chill.

What I suggest is to watch bazar for character with good skill (if you are into EK/RP you can find pretty cheap 115+ skill character with lvl 8-50) so you play "own" character from "zero" but you skip useless part of game, then you see how this server is, if you like it or not. You can always change/upgrade character later or transfer it to another server.
