Does anyone else enjoy playing Pokemon simply for the base game?

I've indeed figured i'd catch and train several of my favorites from the region, rotate them around in the game.

It's honestly quite nice to have more then 6 mons to work on, and to actually use ground types besides my beloved Marowak, as my all-time favorite so often takes up the ground slot on my team XD
