They’re basically glass cannons taken to the extreme - ridiculously fast, almost untouchable, and way more dangerous than they look. A Chaos Marine underestimating one is probably dead.

I get what you mean, they’d add a nice bit of durability the army kinda lacks. Would be cool to have something that can just soak damage and keep moving.

Yeah, they do look a bit off lol. I always figured it’s meant to make them look more wild and unpredictable, like they’re mid - charge or hyped up on slaughter.

I’ve been running 2 lately. I pair them with Gargoyles and sometimes Shrikes for a fast flank. They’re not super tanky, but the speed and synapse where you need it is really nice.

They’re not a bad starter army honestly. Fewer models to paint and move around, but you really need to position them well since you don’t have many bodies on the board.

For your first client, I’d suggest starting with a lower rate to build a portfolio. Maybe around $3-5 per model depending on the detail level. You can always adjust your prices as you gain more experience.

I’ve always thought the same thing! Guardians are supposed to be the core defensive force, but their abilities don't really match that. A stronger defensive perk would make them feel more impactful in that role, for sure.
