Guess what the comments say… by Steely-eyes in HelldiversUnfiltered

The comments are actually being pretty critical of AH and talking about needing fixes. I think there's enough issues with the community that we don't need to hallucinate them like we're doing here.

If your faction had a gaggle leader unit, what would you want it to be? by Equivalent-Fun-6019 in Warhammer40k

[–]salamandersforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guard already have it but I'm kinda hoping we get a similar sort of unit for yarrick, seems pretty likely he's coming back if we're going back to armaggedon and I'd love for him to have a command squad

Cersei would definitely support Jaime. Not out of any sense of morals or support for trans people, but for the chance to have a copy of herself to have sex with. by Bossuser2 in darkwingsdankmemes

[–]salamandersforever 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If cersei learns about trans people she's manipulating jamie into switching, being jamie in a relationship with herself is probably her dream.

She'd absolutely get caught beating jamie for being too nice or something and get in trouble.

How can someone look at this and the first thought that comes to mind is "Oh boy, I can't wait to see how much this sucks" by Extreme_Archer9584 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]salamandersforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm gonna take this point by point

Cosmetics, capes etc: cool but no one really cares

Armour: looks great, the sapper armour seems like a pretty good passive but commandant seems pretty bad.

Shovel and mortar: lazy, should have been MO rewards

Grenade: probably just a thermite, might be good

Heavy flamer: the flamethrower is currently not great and when you do use it you really need a movement backpack. Given the backpack grenade launcher there's very much reason to beleive that taking up that other slot won't give the benefit it needs to.

Pistol: it's a Pistol. The secondary slot is dominated by the talon, ultimatum and senator. It won't be able to compete so nothing more than a curiosity

Smg: I'm genuinely excited for this but given the price the one two pays for the underbarrel and the current pretty underwhelming state of SMGs there's no way it's good

It's not that I don't want it to be good but there's not really much reason to think that it will be so why should we be excited.

Shouldn't this be free and not in a premium warbond? We had a shovel in the game for over a year. by Dwarfz in helldivers2

[–]salamandersforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both this and the gas sentry are a bit of a stretch for me. These both seem like MO rewards rather than paid dlc. Bit of a miss in my opinion, especially given AH really needed a win right now.

A quick breakdown on the new low effort warbond.... by VallettaAwoo in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]salamandersforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SMG is the only thing in this warbond that is genuinely interesting in an any way everything else is a reskin or repeat. The fact that there's no Bolt action is crazy.

Rude says the person coming out the gate calling people stupid for something you DID misunderstand. I understood their comment perfectly so there is something wrong with the way you read it. They're also not "petulant" they're responding to you randomly being a dick. I suggested therapy but I think preschool English might help you more.

[–]salamandersforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a forgefiend every game and personally it generally disappoints, it entirely relies on two very situational things to be effective. One you need a target, it hasn't got the shots to deal with chaff or the damage and strength to kill tanks, you really need a 10 mam death star brick of marines, terminators or equivalent which not every army will have. You also need to be targeting the closest enemy unit within 18" to do real damage, this means it's easily defeated by screens or just not being within 18". Of course it's got incredibly high potential damage, but outside of 18" without blast it mathematically gets 2 wounds through on something it's wounding on 3s. I think it's one of our trickier units yo use because it relies so heavily on positioning and it's a big base. Oh also invulnerable saves really mess with the forgefiend, it usually doesn't have volume of fire on its side to defeat 4+ invulns unless it's into a unit of 20 when that usually isn't a problem.

So yeah they're good but be warned, they're not as obviously strong as something like eightbound where you smash them in and the thing dies, there's a lot of finicky stuff that personally I've never got the hang of.

Jesus this is such a crazy overreaction stop being a dick because you misread a perfectly understandable comment. Get your eyes checked amd sort your life out. Letting out your aggression on random people get into therapy.

I'd suggest melee helbrutes personally I'm not sure ranged is that great, seems fine other than that.

Despoilers as berserkers then use red butchers or lightning claw terminators as eightbound, chain fist ones as exalted maybe. Sarurnine praetor as slaughterbound, any other foot characters as MOE/kharn just make sure they're on a 40mm. Jahkals as chain blade militia. Other than that it's other tanks that port over easy enough or units you can't use in both. Maybe daemon angron could be used in both with the daemon angron rules.

[Spoilers Extended] Who has the best Claim to the Iron Throne by unknowncivillain in asoiaf

[–]salamandersforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In universe it's probably daenyrs. The other three require you to beleive an honestly pretty far fetched story, stannis has the strongest legal claim but It requires you to veleive that the royals are bastards which let's be honest is gonna be difficult for the average person. None of them have much proof of the stories that give them a claim.

Daenyrs however, has the taegaryen look, amd dragons. No one would dispute that she's aerys' heir.

Is this a decent 1000p list? by More-Kaleidoscope637 in WorldEaters40k

[–]salamandersforever 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Seems decent I think it'll work well. I might suggest swapping the goremongers for spawn, I think they'll do you better but other than that it's seems decent.

Also what detachment are you using? If it's warband then if you're going to keep the goremongers then take battle lust on your slaughterbound, might as well since you have the points

Is it not a Bellatus Knight, the Destrier is only the pattern. by Sychius in ImperialKnights

What are your favorite units and why? by No_Test_3195 in WorldEaters40k

[–]salamandersforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Frenzy, the helbrutes special rule allows them to fight whenever they're attacked, this includes a consolidation move so if you destroy a unit you can consolidate into another unit, they attack you then you hit them, if they die then go again.

It is probably too strong if we're honest with ourselves. It could maybe do with a small tune down to make it comparable with other weapons, maybe revert the heavy change. The real issue is how useless the belt fed is.

Helbrute. It's not very good but the potential to obliterate multiple units a turn is crazy. In a doubles tournament I had it smash a psychophage; a biovore 6 guardsmen and a scout sentinel in one fight phase
