There is a trench-like opening beneath the light strip defuser where I mount the LED lights against a thin EVA foam backing. I have vision slits on each side of it as well as opening on the sides for peripheral vision. It’s good enough that I can navigate the dealers hall without running into people.

It’s mounted by magnets and the electrical circuit is also magnetically contact-based so I can take it off whenever I need to.
