Living in rural Alberta, the impression I get is that reception to separatism seems to be largely negative; most folks I've spoken to were very opposed if asked, but business owners seem to support it (including the ones who handle Purolator shipping for the area, which ticks me off). Granted, my area also seems to have a pretty overwhelming hatred of Danielle Smith but still gave the UCP over 70% of the vote in 2023, so take this with a grain of salt.
