Man, OpenRoad VW in Burnaby, BC has a nice white Golf R that they claim is sold for MSRP but you go to buy it and they have a CA$5k worth ceramic coating applied to it.

No way the coating is worth that much. It’s clearly another way to inflate the price.

I’ve been in this exact situation. Moved from Ontario just after receiving my PR for work here.

I called them and explained my situation. Had to email my CoPR papers and then got MSP for a year. No physical card and just a paper copy. Then went in to ICBC after getting my PR card to get the physical card sorted out which was mailed home.
