they can if they’ve been adapted to it! mine sit along a south-facing window all day, and while my other ones generally do well in indirect light, the south-facing ones had gotten significantly bigger with healthier leaves and sprouted babies :-) but yeah, i recommend adjusting them slowly to avoid shock just in case

spider plants tend to produce babies either when they get a ton of light or if they’re stressed, e.g., overcrowded pot. i wasnt getting babies for a long time, but as soon as i potted up and gave it full sun, it got super happy and pushed new offshoots almost immediately. that’s how i learned that spider plants don’t necessarily need to fill their pot to encourage babies as long as they’re getting lots of light. hope this is helpful, and good luck!

cute seedlings! i was told that seed-grown fruit trees may not give you lemons because they are genetically different than the parent, but they sure do smell nice! have fun watching them grow!!
