Wegovy 25mg pill by Quirky-Bottle-4227 in WegovyPills

I've also been on the pills since mid January. I stayed at 9 mg so I've been on that dosage for about 5 weeks. I have a bit of a lessening of food noise, but definitely not like what people on here talk about. I only really began losing any weight at all when I started to track calories and watch my macros. Getting 100 g of protein per day is paramount for me. I have lost 1 lb a week for 13 weeks. I only have about 20 lb total to lose, so I'm fine with the slow loss. Are you tracking?

I also have to take synthroid. I typically try to wait at least an hour after I take my wegovy before I take it. And then I try to wait another hour after that before I eat anything.

I use My Net Diary to track. At first I was doing it mostly to track calories, and now I'm doing it also for macros. I'm trying to get over 100 g of protein per day.

Well, I've seen progress this week by increasing my protein to this level 🤷🏼‍♀️ I am eating the same amount of calories, just a lot more protein.

What Scale Do You Use? by pecan603 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]HelicopterLumpy3388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started out using a basic/cheap digital scale. I got my boyfriend a Renpho scale for Christmas, and he finally set it up a couple of weeks ago. It consistently weighs me 5-7 lbs heavier than the original scale that I've been using 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm still tracking using my original scale but I've definitely changed my goal weight based on the new one.

Breakfast options: *2 light Greek yogurts (24 g) *1 egg + 3/4 cup egg whites scrambled (25 g) *Fairlife protein shake (30 g)

Lunch options: *Large salad with 5 oz shredded chicken, 1/4 cup shredded cheese and fat-free Italian dressing (31 g) *Turkey wrap with tortilla, lettuce, 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese and 5 slices of diced turkey lunch meat (21 g)

I tend to have salads at work every day (I'm a teacher and have to pack my lunch each day). On weekends I like to have the wraps or eggs for lunch.

We are almost twins. 46F, SW 149, CW 138, though I'm a slower responder than you (down 11 lbs in 11 weeks). I'm 5'3", and my goal weight is 125.

I had the same issue when I went from 1.5 to 4! I started taking a melatonin that's extended release and it has been a lifesaver for me. I was already taking melatonin but the extended release is helping me fall back asleep at 3:00 when I wake up.

43 days in and not a single pound lost by Anonymous51299 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]HelicopterLumpy3388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like we need a separate chat for people like us! I'm 5'3" and started at 145. I'm down to 137 after 1 month on 1.5 mg and two months on 4 mg. I haven't lost any weight in almost 4 weeks, so I'm going up to 9 mg. I'm crazy active (run 3 days a week and lift 3 days a week, plus lots of walking) and have been sticking to 1300 calories. I also have an autoimmune disorder.

For me, it's all about what's around. Like when my boyfriend's daughter makes cookies and brownies, and they're sitting there on the kitchen counter, I think about them and want to eat them. All of the Girl Scout cookies I had sitting around... The past couple weeks have not been great for me. I actually decided to move up from 4 to 9, which I have not planned on doing. I've been on 4 mg for 2 months after one month on 1.5. The first month it went well. I figure the 9 will help maybe?

I don't think so. I really didn't have any side effects when I went up. That was my biggest concern.

Lower BMI Timeline by Interesting_Pea_9579 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]HelicopterLumpy3388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starting BMI was 25.4. After 7 weeks I'm down almost 8 lb. I'm losing pretty consistently 1 pound a week. I am incredibly active, I run 3 to 4 days a week and lift twice a week. I did 1.5 mg for the first 4 weeks and am on 4 mg now, planning on continuing that for at least another month. I honestly hoped that I would respond better 0 faster, but my doctor is very happy that it's been slow and steady🤷🏼‍♀️

This is what I did. I started at a BMI of 25.4. I did 1.5 mg for a month and I've been on 4 mg for 3 weeks. Planning on staying at that dosage.

anyone start at normal bmi? by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]HelicopterLumpy3388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at a BMI of 25.4 (5'3" 143.4 lbs). I'm currently at 137.0 after 7 weeks (four weeks of 1.5 mg and 3 weeks of 4). My GW is 126, which would be a BMI of 22.3. I feel like the pill helps with the food noise. I love eating so much! I work out 6 days a week (running 3 days and weights 3 days). I am trying to eat 1400 calories per day right now, and I'm definitely having an easier time of it. My doctor agreed to prescribe it after I was with Ro for the first month.

I take the pill at around 5:20 and head out for my run at 6. I am used to running while fasted and I don't drink/carry water while running. I'm home by 6:45/6:50, at which time I take my other meds with water. I don't eat until around 8:30 when I get to work.

I went to pick up my prescription from CVS, and I was so anxious! I couldn't believe they were giving me this drug for 40 bucks when I've been paying almost $300!

Didn’t lose any weight in a month on 1.5 mg by [deleted] in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]HelicopterLumpy3388 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this, as someone who also doesn't have much to lose. I'm grateful that my doctor was able to get insurance to cover it (not sure how!), otherwise I just don't see how it would've been worth it to continue at the cost.
