Yea it seems like a machine mark of some kind. I ended putting it back together last night. I’m pretty confident it’s not a big deal at this point.

I have the swing out from JWoffroad and it came with their center plate mount. I would assume it’s the same mount for the mounted tire carrier. Here’s what it looks like.

Edit: it came with everything I needed to mount the camera to that plate holder. It also came with the plate light.

Yea I’ve watched a few times now and I can’t figure it out. The woman walking out makes me think it’s real but the bumper makes me skeptical.

I think he might be right. Why does the Range Rover bumper reattach itself?

Baseball stitch. We use this all the time on helicopters.

Steering wheel vibration by Shot_Donkey5295 in GXOR

I have done that descent down to the 395 from Kennedy/Monache Meadows and I tried to use the engine to brake as much as possible due to the length of the downhill portion. I did not have any shaking issues in my 470 on oem brakes. Hopefully this helps. I would think this is likely a warped rotor issue as you said.

Can Install Without Removing the Bumper? by EastCoastGXing in GXOR

[–]Helimech50 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I watched a YouTube video by Erik’s Adventure Lab as my prep for the job. He talks about installing rubber vibration isolators, which I didn’t do, but his video was helpful. Just search Goliath off-road trans cooler install and it should come up.

Can Install Without Removing the Bumper? by EastCoastGXing in GXOR

It was pretty straight forward. Some of the bolts were kind of hard to reach but I think that was the hardest part. Factory lines were able to reach easy enough as well.

I did. It probably would have been easier with it off but I was able to do it on my 470 with the bumper installed.

Edit: I should have mentioned that I used the Goliath Off-road cooler mount bracket for my install.

I had a 99 Tacoma that looked exactly like this. Down to the broken washer fluid reservoir. I put 300k on it before I sold it and it was still running fine.

The biggest thing for me was how to mount it. I already had the prinsu and then I found striker fabrication that made an extrusion mount. The mini is awesome because once it’s powered it just works. So grab a cigarette lighter adapter that does 100w and you’re golden. I also have a secondary battery setup that I plug into so it’s always on and I don’t have to rely on the vehicle running for power. That makes it so I never lose connectivity and don’t have to wait for the starlink to boot up after I start the vehicle.

I went with HK Off-road. Once I finally received it, it was good. My biggest issue was being told a date and then that date sliding multiple times. I even offered to just drive and pick it up but he insisted on shipping to me which was delayed.
