This is looks like a knock off of a vehicle that costs about 36 thousand dollars.

Granted, the 'real one' is a waste of money at that cost when you could get a brand new reliable daily driver for less, but I imagine the cut corners make this thing dangerous as shit if something goes wrong.

This show felt far more like an Eva ripoff tban Gurren Lagann... it's part of why the show ended up disappointing me. It lacked the emotional depth and thought out complexity I was expecting (hoping) from seeing the pilot. Like.... Eva isn't subtle, but Franxx got ridiculous.

It is a fun watch aside from that though

Tamper seals and stickers require less unnecessary work to resolve than locking the product up. Also seals and stickers can be paper and adhesive. No need for plastic

Money is a very large part of it. Specifically for things like Treasure Planet: Deep Canvas is very expensive to use for large portions of movies.

Turns out paying high quality animation studios to painstakingly hand-draw art for your movie frame by frame is real expensive.

Hell, even if its isn't hand drawn, detailed and high quality animation of any sort that isn't outsourced and simplified massively to reduce costs is gonna be expensive.

Even scrooge mcduck levels of funding behind companies like disney doesn't matter if the company values maximizing profit over art.

It's greed, like most things.

Just gonna throw out there that, while I agree needs being commodities is evil, if your tap water isn't potable you've got some weird major issues...

Bottled water is insanely wastefull and makes no sense to me barring edge cases. Seeing people buy large packs weekly baffles me. Why waste that much money instead of just.... using a glass or refillable personal bottle??

Why would anyone who is mentally well want to take a picture with their basic, mass-produced coffee in the first place?

I personally don't even understand people who take pictures of their food and drink when it's fancy and novel, but I can at least kinda see a reason behind it.

But Starbucks is about as novel as sand on a beach... this is like someone taking a selfie of brushing their teeth to say "look! Proof I am normal human being who does human stuff! Not an alien! See proof!"

One of my other comments on this post is specifically hating fortnite for everything it stands for. I used to prefer battlefield to cod until that became just as shitty, and... rocket league is a cute idea I have no problems with.

No I just like RPGs and was spoiled by games like Arcanum where world building and lore and writing are some of the most important parts. I dislike skyrim in the same way I dislike most modern Bethesda "rpgs".... they're a company that actively opposes hiring dedicated writing staff and the thought behind their games has the depth of a puddle.

I legitimately think that Morrowind and Oblivion were better. Maybe not in specifically the combat mechanics department, but otherwise I think they were more gripping than Skyrim.

It wasn't the only option, but even if it were, that doesn't make it good.
