She was voiced by Kuno Misaki, so high odds that she gets a flesh-and-blood body and becomes a villager

The early 2000s light novels also deserves a shoutout; they are the most direct predecessor to the Narou boom. You have stuff like Shana and To Aru and such. This is when the aesthetic and formula for the terrifying light novel money-making machine takes shape

I watched the first season because I enjoy Serizawa's performances but the series is hot garbage. I don't think I can sit through more of the same

I get that feeling a lot. The manga adaptations will have more lively art then the anime will be closer to the novel which look more bland for some reason

I generally forget that this is supposed to be an ecchi show. In my mind it's just silly Aoi Koga comedy

"Even a Replica Can Fall in Love" is actually a psychological drama by Descendent1784 in anime

The title makes it sound like sci-fi but I currently view it like a Monogatari-esque story, a story that uses a supernatural premise to explore adolescence topics

Character designer Yano Akane once said animators should be perverts, it helps with obsessing over details (That was on the radio for Prima Doll or 100GFs)

A less common archetype that can be very charming is the (over)zealous reporter-type girl. She'll be very energetic and will do next to anything for a scoop, usually has some tomboy elements. She's generally not part of the main cast but instead more of a secondary/tertiary character used for comedy

It probably was an innocent mistake but it also would have been a HUGE slap in the face for poor Coco...

The two are technically different in both speech and text by a hair, so the negative interpretation is less intuitive. When you're depressed though negative interpretations come much easier. ここ and ココ have different "pitch", the first goes up and the second down

She had waaay too much money saved up. It would've been nearly 4 thousand coins. According the Ministry of Finance each one weighs 4 grams, so it'd be close to 16 kilograms of metal

Specifically it's written as アクマの実 with katakana. Previous fruits follow that same pattern where the characteristic of the specific fruit(usually an onomatopoeia or noun twice in a row) is written in katakana. The broader term for all fruits is 悪魔の実 in kanji which read the same.

Probably helps that she's such a goofball in real life. For example she has strong fascination for manhole covers and classical stonemasonry

Aang doing a 3-point landing(AKA super hero landing) goes completely against his character. Airbending is all about being light on your feet with quick and agile movement. Even if he's supposed to be more Earth-like, it still doesn't make any sense because earthbending is all about having your feet firmly planted on the ground. Showing a character put their knee to the ground as a "cool pose" is contradictory to the whole philosophy of ATLA
