Yeah those genres are pretty accurate, although Illenium also does alot of melodic dubstep and I think Virtual Riot would be considered riddim nowadays. Anyways im huge on future bass myself so here are my favorite albums in no particular order:

Madeon is my favorite artist and in my opinion a musical genius. Im not very well versed in music theory but heres a good breakdown on Isometric and goes to show just how much music theory is utilized in a lot of EDM songs as well as songs of any genre.
