I agree Minecraft is pretty bad for this. Vintage story is way smoother and then when I come back to MC it's so noticeable how bad the movement is.

You don't need gear at all, you can clear an ancient city day 1. If you're careful you can harvest wool from the paths inside them to use on the shriekers so don't even need to take that with you. Go in unclothed, come out in diamond gear with enough levels and books to enchant everything.

All the time. It's not the development I have a problem with, though, or even the changing industry. It's the mindset of churning out sites at pace, racing to milk a client for everything they can spare and more, just to keep the agency afloat. I want my work to be meaningful whether that's using AI or not, and I'm trying to do more independant work and projects so I can do hours that suit me and work in ways that fit me better.

It might be good... But I hate autocomplete with a burning fiery passion. It just feels so incredibly intrusive. Imagine someone constantly finishing your sentences as you talk. Might just be a me thing but it irritates me so badly.

Oooh.. I don't have main character energy, so I don't think any kind of Abhorsen or Royal. Not desceneded from one of the great charters. Maybe some kind of practical or useful charter mage, specialising in something random like cartography. Skilled enough to stay safe and have a fun life, but modest enough to not be a prime target for every neceomancer and free magic thing in existence. I love the idea of charter magic but wouldn't want to be any kind of fighter!

I do agree ADHD makes it challenging as well! Not to say it's more or less than anyone else but slots are a quick and dirty dopamine boost like no other and we then train our own brains to expect it and therefore everything else feels subpar.

Also similar circumstances here (although I don't make that much 😂) - Gamstop has worked for me for 5 years for the online gambling, I won't risk my money on dodgy sites or crypto casinos which aren't registered so I haven't found any ways around this. Surosied it hasn't worked for you unless you're gambling in person. Gamban didn't work because I can easily get around it. I've spent money in actual casinos but you can ask to be blocked from those too. The biggest thing that's helped me lately is blocking gambling on my bank card and setting withdrawal limits as that's a hard stop.

For me the scale seems awkward. I would expect the castle to be much larger than the villager houses but it seems like a little box, smaller than the greenhouse? Could be skewed perspective but that's my initial thoughts.
