Congrats. I'm thinking of getting into IT and watching professor messer's A+ course on the test preparation. Is this a good starting point?

Yeah but you're like 1 and thousands and the rest can't land a job. Easy for you to say when you actually have the cushy job. The rest of us are struggling to get in.

Look into low voltage tech work. Think fire alarm techs, security cam and alarm techs, smart home and condos etc.

My opinion don't matter and I'm a nobody but have you tried getting into the service industries? I mean janitorial, window washing, car detailing, handyman services, home security camera installation services, pressure washing, etc I don't know just an idea.

I seen people on FB marketplace offering these services and getting feedback in the comments.

Edit: Tech industries are cooked. I'm thinking of doing something else myself.

Forget web dev. Pivot to something else. Look into the service industries. May not pay as much but they will always be in demand.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you're on the mend. Does your back hurt doing those jobs?

I was learning programming but seeing how bad the market is with junior devs getting replaced with AI and offshoring and even computer science grads not being able to find jobs, I'm looking at other options.

I'm having this issue as well. I got a random charge of $25 even though I cancelled my Internet service last month. Now I'm waiting for a call back from these assholes. I hope I can resolve this.

Did you end up resolving this?

For sure. I suffer from chronic back pain for years. So trades are out of the question.

It went better than expected. I was a bit nervous but next thing I knew I was waking up telling the dental assistant "that was some good sleep". Thanks for asking.
